"The restaurant has minimal staffing, so it's best to come prepared to take your time and relax. If you're interested in afternoon tea, be aware that it requires a reservation 24 hours in advance. However, there's a good selection of items available for walk-ins, whether for takeout or dining in. I visited to purchase some shareable treats from the shop for our school's Multicultural Fair, but I also wanted my family to try some lunch options that we don't usually have. The ham and cheese sandwich features chutney as its pickle, which was a hit or miss—only one of us enjoyed it. On the other hand, the Ploughman pasty, filled with ham, cheese, and onion in a flaky pastry, was hearty and delicious. The Cherry Bakewell Tart was a delightful little dessert! I opted for a small pot of Irish Eyes tea, which is a green tea blended with hints of bergamot and chocolate, making it quite pleasant without any grassy notes. We also enjoyed watching a themed tea party at a nearby table, but of course, we would never eavesdrop!"
