"I do not have enough words for Indian Tadka. Oh my goodness. So so so yummy. The richness of flavor is amazing. The FOOD. The food. Oh so amazing. Certainly one of my top 3 favorite food (not just Indian places in Peoria. Whether you are local or just passing through, consider having a meal here.Expect to spend a little more here than at other nearby restaurants. However, considering the phenomenal flavor, the variety and quantity of spices involved in each dish, and the sheer amount of labor it would take to make these dishes at home, I feel the price is justified. I tend to take out a lot, but I would absolutely recommend dining in if you can! The staff is so kind and professional, and something about the restaurant just makes the food taste even better. For Midwestern snowflakes like me, order the mild or medium spice level with a lassie drink. Even medium spice level can feel hot to the Midwestern palate. Beware that some dishes are hotter than others if this is important to you, pay attention to the food descriptions when ordering. But oh, the burn is so worth it.A spicy culprit you might not expect is cardamom. Dont shy away from dishes with cardamom they are SO yummy but be aware that you could potentially bite down on a whole spicy seed pod if you arent careful!I have not even tried half the menu, but here are my personal favorites: Goat Korma (bone in , chicken vindaloo, or the Hyderabad biriyani with a sweet lassie and garlic naan. And the chilli paneer appetizer and samosas are amazing too you are with a group (or just very hungry .Vegetarian recommendations: Aloo Gobi, palak paneer, chili paneer appetizer, vegetable samosa appetizer, Baygan Bharta, yellow daily, tofu vindaloo, vegetable biriyaniRecommendations for sensitive eaters (mild spice : Butter chicken, anything Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, or palak paneer (palak paneer is a creamy spinach and cheese. Good for spice sensitive, but probably not good for picky eaters. . Order any of these with a mango lassie and plain or garlic Naan. For bone in goat dishes, be aware that you should eat carefully and may need to use your hands to help you eat around the little bones. But the goat is my favorite protein at Indian Tadka, so don't be scared to give it a try!I'm so excited to see this restaurant has expanded their menu and is now offering Sunday brunch! Can't wait to try it!"

"we got a dosa and it was okay. there wasn't that much filling or spread out evenly. the top portion of the dosa was good and crispy but the bottom was soggy even though we started eating right after it was served. it was surprising that the dosa wasn'thot since there weren't that many customers there. would have thought it would be fresh and warm. we also wished there was moresauce. it was odd that one of the slots was empty.... overall we made do with what we were given. the server didn't really checkon us or check if we were okay. we also got a biriyani. we asked for goat but they didn't have that and didn't tell us until awhile after so we settled on chicken. I'm used to the meat being shredded but this was just a drumstick and a small chunk ofchicken in the middle of the bowl. the rice was tasty though and it was a bit spicy. it wasn't mentioned it would be spicythough anyone who can't tolerate spice would not be able to eat this but we both enjoy spice so we were fine for the most part.it was served with yogurt and some broth? the server didn't identify what he brought and was nowhere to be found afterwards forus to ask. we had to wait a while before we were able to get the check. the positive thing was that it's 10% off for cash.honestly was expecting more from this place since it's in Parsippany and there's an Indian population here but was disappointed.will need to venture to Edison next time for a dosa fix next time. the food wasn't bad but it wasn't something that would makeme want to come again."
