"First time visiting this restaurant, and I was blown away by the food and service. Even dish was delicious, and the menu had a nice variety. The service was 10 stars! We had early reservations on a Friday night. Plenty of tables available, but it filled up very quickly. I highly recommend trying Yayla Bistro! Parking: We parked in the garage. Free for 2 hours. "What a lovely find. Small, family-owned Middle Eastern (Turkish) restaurant. The food was excellent and the owner/waiter was extremely polite and helpful. They have a wine list that includes some wonderful Turkish wines. There is no bar and they do not serve hard liquor, which was fine since I wanted wine anyway. The dining areas looked a bit like a pizza place, but when the food came out it didn't matter what the place looked like. You know a place has good ethnic food when most of the people in the restaurant are from that ethnic background. They have another location in Vienna, which I will also try. We were there on a Monday night, so it was not very busy. I hope that this place thrives... I loved it."

"The experience at this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Upon walking in, you are immediately immersed in Mediterranean culture. However, the real surprise is the amazing quality of the food. They specialize in serving authentic Turkish cuisine and they do it exceptionally well. I highly recommend trying their set dinner menu priced at $35 per person. It's like a tasting menu where you get to sample a variety of dishes, including appetizers and entrees. And to top it off, they have a great selection of Turkish wines to complement your meal. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Cheers!"

"Let me start by saying that I have never given a bad review. I believe that when things are wrong in an establishment the manner in which the issue is handled determines my overall experience. I have been to this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the ambiance and food. Last night, however, prompted this review and a vow never to return. My companion and I each ordered lamb dishes. I ordered the Kabob which was slightly over cooked for my liking but ok. she ordered the lamb platter which was so overcooked and stringy that is was inedible. I brought this to the attention of my server and just asked if they would replace it with a different dish. She came back with a tear in her eye..I can only imagine the tongue lashing she must have received in the kitchen ..and told us they don’t do replacements. Whatever happened to customer service? I’m glad for them that can afford to lose a relatively regular diner and someone had recommended this to several friends. Never again!!!"

"As always, the food and service were excellent. Bodrum is my favorite local restaurant. BUT, there is a new wrinkle which is disturbing. As in some restaurants, the check is presented in a digital card reader and you must make a decision regarding the gratuity with the server stading near the table. This prevents a discussion with other diners and is very stressful. I will think twice about going back because of this."

"Very good food, cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff and great prices. This casual gyro joint has large falafel, slightly spiced and perfectly fried. The lens soup was also delicious. While ordering and eating, the owner / cook will be out and welcome to chat that adds to the inviting environment. Early on a Saturday night there were only a few customers, so the service was fast, although the parking is somehow rough. High chairs and children's menus are available, with less exotic options for picky meals."
