"Delightful! I had several meals at Sensei by Nobu throughout my stay. Thankfully the one restaurant on site is stellar for breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. Much like the entire Sensei experience, the service at the restaurant is above and beyond. Definitely snag a table outside in the shade for a comfortable and scenic breakfast. Evenings can be cooler but blankets are graciously provided. Anytime I see a Japanese breakfast on a menu, it's a hands down must order for me. I particularly enjoyed the onsen egg and simmered vegetables. The poi donut was also a tasty treat. One thing that Sensei by Nobu does really well is flavorful broths. I was smitten with the shabu shabu although it is a smaller portion. The whitefish tempura with the calamansi sauce was also a standout."

"The food at this restaurant was good, but it did not live up to the hype. I expected more considering the price. The service was just okay, with the waitress making mistakes and taking a long time to serve us. Although she eventually corrected the errors, it was frustrating. The loud table behind us also detracted from the experience. Overall, I'm glad I tried this place, but I probably won't return, especially considering the cost. There are better restaurants in Vegas that offer more value for the price."

"Given the restaurant makes a big deal about their 23% service charge they should have more of a free flowing staff. Tables are still very siloed to 1 server or another, so despite a relatively high guaranteed gratuity you don’t get great service. Service also fell off once we had our meals, it was hard to get a drink refill, dessert, or the check. Food is incredibly delicious and creative, we love the rotating menus. Some items can be poor value though, for example $6 for a single small oyster. Could also use more variety when it comes to sides and non pasta dishes. I’d love to order some veggies with my pasta."

"This place is amazing. I had heard about it from Toronto and finally got to experience it during a weekend in Topanga. This café came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I ended up going back 2 out of the 3 days I was in the area, which is rare for me as I usually like to try new places. The Island Style dish I ordered on the first day was not only visually stunning but also packed with delicious flavors. I also tried the Highway 27 smoothie, almond croissant, and a simple breakfast on my second visit, all of which were delicious. The prices were reasonable, there was plenty of seating including a cute terrace area, and I enjoyed browsing through the tables filled with various knick-knacks for sale. The only downside was the limited parking space, but it's a small inconvenience worth bearing for the amazing food and atmosphere. Be sure to check this place out, it's worth it!"

"Meh! Hadn't been here in quite a while. Friends went back after a long absence also. They thought it had come back. The place was full so obviously they have a fan base. I was excited but I came away with meh, it was ok. But I can name numerous restaurants I would have rather gone to. It seemed disjointed and haphazard. The fried olives and gnocchi that we had as appetizers were both quite good. My pork chop was cooked properly but lacked seasoning. Salt or an acid was needed. It was supposed to have nectarines but that was replaced with persimmons. I love Fuyu persimmons but they need to be ripe (or cooked to soften not just wedges and put on the plate). I didn't bother complaining so that is on me although I did point out to waitperson that these were persimmons and they agreed. Spouse's trout was dry and a bit “fishy” tasting. Both entrees were subpar. The cannolo was delicious for dessert. Unfortunately we won't be rushing back to say the least. It was fine(ish). It's a shame as it is a great venue and I really would love it to be in our regular rotation. Just too many missteps for me."
