"Noodle Monster is a very casual noodle asian noodle restaurant in a very casual part of Valley Village. The food was tasty enough, though presentation varied. I had the fried rice with soy chicken (I?m a fiend for soy meat dishes). This was very easy. The soy chicken was tender and worked well in the dish. It wasn?t anywhere near as beautiful as the other dishes that the other folks in my parter ordered and could have used some vegetables to round it. I also had a side of battered tofu. This was was light and came with a sweet peanut sauce. It was a little over fried which seemed to make much of the tofu inside the batter disappear?it was almost like tofu-puffs. (Sure ?Tofu Puffs? SOUNDS exciting, but in practice it wasn?t as satisfying as I wanted. We had a side of vegetables at our table which were super fresh and hella-green! As I mentioned, this is a casual place which is almost nice-ish, definitely clean and while we were seated for dinner, lots of people coming in for takeout orders."
