"My husband and we're running errands and happen to see this place around the corner. Normally we order sushi from Avocado Sushi to be delivered but this was our first time at this location. Place was empty, there is construction on the street side and it can be hard to miss if you're using GPS. Place is clean and bright. Food was great and wait time was not long at all. We started with some seared salmon sushi and had entrees. The food was prepared fantastic and service was great. The hubby and I loved the brown rice as well. Flavorful with every bite."

"I've worked in fine dining for 15 years, and still do. When my family comes to town we make reservations at Hope Olive (it's nice to go out to eat somewhere other than where you work if you're looking for a great meal). The food ALWAYS great. The service is EXCELLENT (Cynthia is a total pro unassuming, professional, knowledgable with allergens I'm celiac). As someone who works in the industry, I can say with confidence that Hope Olive excels at service, above and beyond without being overbearing. Go eat here. Get the brussels sprouts for the table, know that you can order a martini (or any classic cocktail) and have it arrive correctly. Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe. "It's a small quaint restaurant, and I had high hopes but was sorely disappointed.We ordered 4 items off the menu: [9] Soft Tofu and Seafood Soup (mild) {3/5} [11] Pollack Stew (mild) {3/5} [22] Hand rolled Noodle Soup {2/5} [26] Ox Bone Soup {1/5}All the soups tasted watered down or had little to no discernable flavor (especially 22 and 26). I've tasted other Korean soups that had more flavor than all the ones we had combined. The only saving grace was the rice and sides to fill up on. Maybe it didn't appeal to me because I am not korean, but I wanted more flavor in the broths?Service was good though. Be wary it costs $2 to park in the area in front of the restaurant."
