"My boyfriend and I went to Desi Wok for the first time today and we won't be back. I love Indian food but was disappointed with my dish. I got Malai Kofta and asked them to do half malai kofta and half meat balls, which they did not do. The malai kofta balls were alright, but nothing special. The sauce was bland and rice was dry and tasted weird. The naan looked store bought but tasted good.
My boyfriend ordered Schezwan chicken with fried rice. The fried rice had a flavor that just tasted off... Not good. The chicken was rubbery and swimming in a bright artifical Halloween blood red sauce that tasted really bland.
The cashier was friendly, the food was just kind of bad. We took about three bites and left. It was a waste of $30, but I guess we wouldn't have known if we hadn't tried it."
