"The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, and the restroom was spotless too. I noticed a charming orchid placed near the top of the wall, adding a lovely touch. We sat in a booth at the front, and there were also larger tables alongside the booths for bigger groups. Although it's a small establishment, it has a cozy atmosphere. The food arrived quickly, and the service was excellent. The prices were quite reasonable, making it a great value for the quality offered. The restaurant is located in a plaza next to a Mexican restaurant. The only thing that could improve this spot would be the addition of liquor service, as I don’t drink beer, wine, or sake. However, it is definitely a place I'd return to for a quick meal and a pleasant experience. We were able to park right in front, and they have takeout menus outside for you to check before entering if you’d like. Next time, I think I’ll try the udon!"

This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in New Orleans. We will definitely be returning soon. The cucumber was tough, the rice seemed overcooked, and the price was $19.88 for just 8 pieces of sushi. While I expected it to be pricey given its Hollywood location, I anticipated that the flavors would match the cost. I had high hopes for the meal, but I can only give this place three stars. It would have earned four stars if the pricing was more reasonable."

"We love coming to MASA for work lunches. Almost every time we come with more than people (this time was it takes a long time to get food. Our server was attentive when it came to drinks but seemed distracted while taking orders and couldn't remember who ordered what when she came back to bring us the food. I asked for regular soy sauce and never received it. She set my appetizer down in front of my boss across from me and he started eating them because he wasn't there when I ordered and thought it was for the table. I'll continue to come to MASA because I love the food. Just wish the large parties were taken care of just as well as the smaller ones."

"Fushimi Sushi Japanese Restaurant: A Disappointing Experience I recently dined at Fushimi Sushi Japanese Restaurant and, unfortunately, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The meal was extremely overpriced and severely under-flavored. To start, the miso soup was watered down and lacked the rich, savory taste one would expect. The sushi rolls were equally disappointing, with little to no flavor and missing key ingredients that are essential for a satisfying sushi experience. My wife ordered the steak, rice, salad, and miso soup meal, which was over $20. The steak was not grilled, and the portion was very slim, making it far from satisfying. I opted for the chicken meal, priced at over $16, and the portion size was equally small. The chicken was laid on a bed of onions and drenched in teriyaki sauce, arriving only lukewarm. The final bill came to over $64 for a meal that was far from enjoyable. With such poor quality and high prices, I cannot recommend Fushimi Sushi Japanese Restaurant. Sadly, it was a bad dinner that did not live up to our expectations."

"Service and atmosphere ambience were great. It’s a great place to meet and talk since it’s a spacious place for indoors and outdoors. It just the food was lacking of the authenticity in term of the taste. Too fusion maybe ? Presentation was great tho. We ordered 3 items, we couldn’t finish one and took it home. We didn’t take the picture of that one roll. Their menu was massive, a bit confusing for a first timer. "Normally this place is great. Tonight they let us down pretty badly. We ordered Harumaki (spring rolls), Crab Rangoons, and the Chicken&Steak hibachi. The meat was very over cooked, steak was well done and chicken was as dry as the Sahara. The rice was ?dry?, maybe tepid and seemed as if it had been microwaved. The veggies were decent, actually good; like usual. The rangoons.. what did we even get? They looked like mini calzones or maybe pizza rolls? Not sure.. the filling was 100% cream cheese with no crab or Krab, and I 'm not a fan of eating straight cream cheese. The spring rolls had almost no filling, it was simply fried dough with the smallest amount of cabbage and very, very few bits of shredded carrot. We are hoping this is a one off experience and once I have the gut to spend the money here again I will update my review.Again, it 's normally pretty good. Heck, even the clear soup tonight was very watered down. My wife thought I was crazy until I asked her to try it; because there 's no way they could get that wrong too .Hey, Yaki, we 're all facing financially more difficult times.. Please let this be a one-off, negative experience. We 've eaten your food for years and have never had this type of experience."

"Another odd experience was when my husband and I were sharing our meal. He ordered a drink, and when I mentioned I would share his, the server insisted, "No sharing! No sharing!" It was quite awkward. That said, the food is truly delicious. The first time I tried the hot and sour soup, it was out of this world! However, during my second visit, it was overpowered by an excessive amount of chili peppers, making it inedible, which was quite a surprise! Honestly, aside from the staff's negative attitude—which you really have to witness to believe—this place does have good food. Just imagine the most unfriendly, unsmiling expressions, as if we’re bothering them, and that’s the service you can expect. Also, it seems that most customers prefer takeout rather than dining in, possibly due to the uncomfortable atmosphere created by the staff."

"Oh Sake House 2, where do I start???? Well first off, my daughter and I had a craving for sushi so I told her that Sake House 2 would be a good place to grab some she's visiting from out of town) and since I had recently dined there for lunch I knew it would be a great place for her to experience and boy, was I sadly mistaken. We arrived around 7:15 and quickly placed our order. I already knew what I wanted lol. 7:45 no food!!!! 8:00 no food!!! Now keep in mind it's only the 2 of us and they only have about 6 other tables, so my daughter waived down the server and finally 8:06 our food arrived. My order was not what I wanted or expected so I requested to exchange it. The waiter brought another person out and she stated that my order correct, I said ok well can I please have what I'd like? They then brought out another person that offered me a discount, because he said that he remember serving me before and how nice I am I stated that I didn't want a discount, I just wanted my sushi??? It was only a 6 piece roll $14??? Meanwhile my tab was over $70 because we also added a to go order! The solution I expected was to simply have the correct item I wanted. They told me I'd need to reorder it pay full price) There I sit STUCK with sushi that I didn't want and still hungry especially after waited almost 1 hour to be served! I didn't make a scene, although was highly upset. I just paid the check declined the discount) and I told them that I'd never come back again. The fact they were willing to lose a repeat customer over a $14 entree and get a bad review is mind blowing to me. I am a business owner and I would never treat my customers this way. DO BETTER SAKE HOUSE 2 or NOT"

"During our recent visit, Andy was our chef, and he was nothing short of amazing. While there were a couple of minor mix-ups with our orders (since Andy wasn't the one taking them), both our server and Andy more than made up for it. Our server had a great sense of humor and sincerely apologized for the errors. As for Andy, he was simply outstanding! I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful our experience was. We've always enjoyed Siki, but they've really taken things to the next level this time! I can’t wait to return in March!"

"I've seen this place multiple times as I shop in the plaza all the time and eat at the Greek restaurant on the corner. I wanted to do something different so we ordered takeout I got the volcano chicken which was horrible too much breading a very large portion with no chicken and was bland and the volcanic chili sauce smell like it was tainted we ordered the egg fried rice and we found a large hair which look like it was from a beard. My wife ordered the teriyaki chicken with a super small portion and had no flavor at all. The soft shell crab wasn't even a full crab it was one crab cut in half with too much breading. And whatever sauce came with it tasted really bitter. My daughter's ordered some pad Thai with beef and the meat was undercooked. The rangoons were horrible look like they hadn't changed the grease in months. Before we found the hair and the egg fried rice it had a funny smell and smell like it was burnt. I spent over $100 ordering takeout and I'm very disappointed. I will never go back to this place. I should have known when the whole entire restaurant was empty when we walked in. As we sat and waited a kind gentleman walked up to us and offered us a drink which I would have ordered one if I wanted to after a long day's work but I figured why not. He told the hostess and she proceeded to grab me a soda which I thought he was offering as a kind gesture as we waited and she proceeded to charge before it almost $3 for a can of soda. The amount of money I just spent at this restaurant to enjoy a nice dinner and something of a change has become a huge disappointment. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Gross"
