"First time coming to The Cove. Lots of pros and some things that were just average. The pros were the food and service were excellent. Our waitress was very nice and the food was great. Chowder, lobster bisque, kale soup and clam cakes all great. Even gave us 3 complementary clam cakes as well! The fried shrimp was a good size and the cocktail sauce was yummy. A pint of fried shrimp totaled to 10 shrimp which was a good value. Prices were reasonable. Only things that need change are the place is in dire need of a renovation and they have started some renovations inside already. Also the parking lot is very small and only has room for 4-5 cars. If you can’t find parking you will need to park on the street. Worth the trip if looking for reasonably priced seafood!"

"A decision where to eat on a Saturday midmorning so we decided on Gregg's Coney Is land Cafe. The name is a bit deceiving as Gregg's has a full menu including a breakfast to die for. We both had the big breakfast that included 3 eggs, the best hash browns in town, two slices of bacon, a choice of meat, 3 silver dollar pancakes, and a choice of bread. Both of our breakfasts were cooked perfectly as was everything on our plates. This will for sure our new go to breakfast lunch and dinner place. More to come from me to you."

"While we were there, we found out they had new owners. That explained everything. My brussel sprouts were burnt to a crisp, We had to send back our glassess of water times due to lipstick being on them. We ended up asking for to go cups and straws. My daughter found paper in her food. A piece of dried food from a previous customer was on one of the plates. It took over an hour for us to get our food and it was a Monday night, with only a few guests. Needless to say, we will not be going back"

"This restaurant has an extensive menu, and I'm not even sure where to begin! However, I do know a thing or two about BBQ. I started Hoggy's back in the '90s, so I have some expertise in this area. Since we closed Hoggy's a couple of years ago, I've really missed good BBQ, but Big Walnut Grill has quickly captured my heart with their amazing offerings! Their food is outstanding! It's almost as if they've discovered Hoggy's recipes and improved upon them! If I had to highlight just one dish, I have to say they serve the best brisket I've ever had in Ohio—no contest! They also offer a fantastic cheeseburger topped with freshly made onion straws. It's definitely one of my favorite burgers in Central Ohio!"

"We went there for dinner last week. It was crowded and very busy. The atmosphere was great. We ate outside and the view was nice. We both ordered seafood dishes. I ordered a cup of chowder but it never came. My fish was tasty but slightly over cooked. My friend had a scallop and fish casserole. He said that the scallops were delicious but also thought that the fish was overdone. I want to repeat that it was very busy because for the most part the staff was attentive and accurate. We felt a bit rushed because our waiter came twice to check if were done We obviously were still eating! He brought the check before we were done too and I didn’t like that. I’m not saying that it wasn’t a good experience but I wish that I had received my chowder, that my fish was not overcooked and that we felt rushed. But they really did need the table. We’ll definitely go back."

"NY attitude; inconsistant quality. Last week spent $28.50 for one large deep dish and 2 drinks (incl tax and tip ; very expensive pizza dinner for two. Could have ordered a 2 full dinners from any number of local resturants for same price. Deep dish crust was good but toppings were sparse and thin; toppings only covered 12 (75% of 16 pizza. This week we purchased an Upstate Journal coupon as did our friends; but were told we could not sit together at same table (one coupon per group/table.... whats with this??? .....so we had to tie up 2 seperate tables. "Tonight marks my final visit to this restaurant. My last three experiences have been disappointing when it comes to the food quality. This evening, I ordered the fried walleye, which I often enjoy at various places in the Illinois Valley area. The menu described it as fried walleye, yet it arrived with the skin on and was filled with bones. When I inquired about this, I was told that was the standard preparation, and they offered to comp me a few dollars off the $21 meal for something I didn't eat at all. I think it would be helpful if they either accurately labeled their menu items or informed customers about the dish while they are ordering. On my previous visit, I had issues as well—I ordered an 8 oz ribeye steak cooked medium, but it came out well done. When I questioned that, I was again told that was just how it is. In addition to being overcooked, the steak was completely flavorless. I won't be recommending this place to any of my friends, and I'm sorry to share my experiences."

"I had the most salivating-flavorsome-delectable-inviting-succulent kid's chicken tenders and French fries. Not only were the tenders beyond perfectly cooked, they were blasting with flavor with or without the juiciness of the honey mustard on the side.Not only was the honey mustard the most tasty sauce I have ever had in my life, it was plentiful, and I never once ran out ofthe sauce. The fries were utterly perfectly salted and have lead me to rub every lamp I will see, just to find a genie, so I canwish for an endless supply of these absolutely perfect French fries. And if this doesn't seem like enough for you, the meal alsocame with the perfectly Al dente green beans that I didn't know I needed. I would not be surprised if all three of thesebountiful pieces of a perfect meal, caused a mouth-trap-like chain reaction leading me to go to Harvard, Yale, Brown, MIT,and/or any other college I want. "The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! I began with the Buffalo Chicken Tenders as an appetizer, followed by the Cajun Swordfish with Rice Pilaf and Cole Slaw for my main course. For dessert, I had the NY Style Cheesecake with strawberries, which came in a large slice that was even bigger than the slice at the Cheesecake Factory. I couldn't finish it all! The restaurant offers wifi and has plenty of parking spaces. Masks and reservations are required for indoor seating. Despite my server having hiccups, everyone was entertaining and I highly recommend paying them a visit."

"Update 12 23 I went back for the Wednesday $6.99 enchiladas plate. Everything was really good the chips salsa were good as always, the cheese tacos were delicious! Eating in here is much better than takeout! It was really tasty. I even had to take a little nap afterwards Mediocre at best. I used to really enjoy El Chico growing up...but it just seems like their quality is going down, the prices are going up. First time ordering takeout here. I called in the order and was told it would be ready in 15 20min. Got there about 25 30min still had to wait inside another 10min. Anyway, I got the Juarez Combo dinner. The Enchiladas were very good, rice beans were pretty average. Chips Salsa had a great flavor just the right amt of heat I shouldve just stopped my whole order there. I just decided to get another dinner to try since I was craving Tex mex. I got the rodeo combo burritos. Seriously not impressed by ANYthing on this whole place. The side cup of beans rancheros was the best part. The burritos we're not good at all in my opinion. I've had better ones that were frozen. Both were shredded beef one was topped with sour cream sauce the other with queso. The sour cream sauce was not any good. The queso sauce was pretty good but the overall flavor of the burritos just missed the mark tasted like cardboard or something...looks good but didn't even want to save it for a meal tomorrow. I ended up throwing it away. Enchiladas tacos good Most everything else could use some serious improvements."

"As for the food, it didn't live up to the prices they charge. The calamari appetizer contained more fried vegetables than actual calamari, the turkey burger was served on a cheap potato roll, and the French dip roll was stale. The only dish I found acceptable was the fish and chips. The beers were hit or miss; one was delicious while the other was just average. I also noted that they now charge for bread rolls, which used to be complimentary. In total, we spent $147 before tip for 2 beers, 4 non-alcoholic drinks, 1 appetizer, and 5 entrees. With so many better dining options in Media and Delco, I won't be returning to IRON HILL anytime soon."

"The reason for the two stars is because of the kitchen. Our waitress was exceptional ... in fact, if she had not told us she was new we would have thought she had been a waitress for years. The bang bang shrimp and the pretzel rolls were delicious. However, the fried calamari was more bread than meat, it was very thin and not cooked well. I had the filet mignon which I ordered medium rare and it came out very rare. They did take it back to cook it more but it still came back rare but this time the outside was almost burnt. The meat itself was tender and did have a good flavor. Another person in our party also had to send back their steak as it was undercooked. The biggest problem was the wait for our food. We arrived at 6pm and our dinner was not served until about 730pm. A few of the serving staff kept apologizing and one even informed us of the difficulties they have been having with the kitchen staff. I feel that many of the items on the menu do not fit the skill levels of the chefs. Overall, the amount of money spent on our meal was not equivalent to our experience. To end on a positive note ... the mixed drink I had (Madori Sour) was one of the best I have ever had. I would recommend the bar and some of the appetizers but would caution people on eating there for dinner. "my wife and I came here to meet family, and we had amazing service. our waiter, I think his name is torry, went beyond and beyond! the sister of my wife has a son, and he was so amazing with him. very kind, very tender to the table. will definitely ask for his section at the next visit. he made our culinary experience a 10-star experience. the food was also very good. order and it was at the time in a very contemporary wise. 10/10 would definitely recommend!"

"The food was incredible! Our family sampled six different sandwiches, all of which were fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly. We had our grandchild's Great Dane with us and initially planned to take our food to go. However, they graciously served us outside and even offered water for the dog without us asking.
