"As a younger man I used to go here with my kids when there were not as many Thai places in the area. As Yoong Tong it had good solid food. I love Thai food and try and have it every time I travel to Silicon Valley for work as it is generally outstanding out there (as is much Asian food). I was excited to try this new version of this place, now apparently owned by the kids of the original owners and sporting a fancy new French inspired name. In a word, it was just okay... and pricey. The entrees we had were fine and properly prepared and fairly good portions but at $25 each plate it was expensive. The Tom Kha (I had the one with tofu) was very disappointing and very plain and bland. I judge every Thai place by its Tom Kha Gai, the single best flavor of soup I have had in my life. I love TKG. I adore it. I will have it at EVERY Thai meal I go to if it's on the menu (and it usually is). I will even give this place a second shot and order it again here as perhaps they screwed my bowl up. The soup tasted as if all they did was open a can of coconut milk and heat it up with a few mushrooms and with some tofu. There did not appear to be a single spice or herb or flavor of any kind in the soup. My advice to the new owners is to go back to Mom's recipe. She had a nice TKG."

"I asked for Pattaya noodles from the menu I had several times at Union Square. I asked for nothing rumored or green onion. I made it very clear to the waitress and mentioned I have mussel allergy and a sensitivity to onion. She brought me my food and I tried to fly her down. She didn't come to my table for a few minutes, which is okay, but when she mentioned it, I mentioned it. Apart from the onion there was a lack of taste and the noodles tasted old. I ordered a drink too. I took two bites of it and couldn't eat it. The manager gave me 5% of a meal I couldn't eat. I have mentioned that they must be more careful because slipping like this with an ingredient someone is very allergic to can cause a medical emergency. Such bad customer service and terrible food compared to the other trade union location. I do not recommend this location based on customer service and above all food quality."

"I loved Nora Thai! I ordered the green curry with chicken and my friend ordered the pad kee mao with tofu and both were delicious (and only $30 for the meal! (pre tax/tip . The vibes in the restaurant were great very fun/interesting interior. My one suggestion to Nora is that they change their music. Imagine Dragons crushed the vibe they had built."

"Overall, I enjoyed everything I ate; it was all delicious. There was just a minor language barrier during my order. I requested beef pad Thai extra spicy, but ended up receiving shrimp pad Thai instead. It had a noticeable amount of spices on top, but it was quite flavorful and leaned towards being very sweet. I would rate it about 3.5 out of 5 stars. I might give it another shot in the future."
