"Wandered in from out of town now). Made reservations through Open Table both times but wait staff didn't take my name to make sure they confirmed we were there. That said, the food was good and prices terrific. We went back the second time specifically for the lemongrassitini, but they couldn't accommodate us. Wait staff suggested the ginger cosmo and it was a good alternative. The soup with noodles was awesome, fish with lime pesto terrific. They really do a nice job with sauces and the happy hour deals can't be beat!"

"In general, my experience at this restaurant was positive. I must say, their fried "chik'n" is some of the best I've ever had. However, the Tom Kha I ordered left me feeling underwhelmed. I could taste the aromatic flavors, but it was lacking the spicy curry flavor I was expecting. It tasted more like a coconut-based Alfredo noodle dish. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and they offer a wide variety of vegan options. Despite my mixed feelings, I would still recommend supporting this restaurant."

"First I'd like to say, I love food and have eaten at smaller restaurants as well as high end chain restaurants and this by far has been one of the best experiences as the customer service, food and atmosphere was great. This was my first time having Thai food and I was a little nervous but wanted to try something new. The food was AMAZING! The server was so helpful with explaining the menu and making suggestions. The pot stickers were the best I've ever had! The food came out fresh and hot. I was surprised at how great the quality was due to it being prepared and served within 15 mins of ordering. You can taste they have pride in what they serve their customers and it was great to see locals coming in and being acknowledged. You can definitely see this is a staple of the community."

"Though I wasn't extremely hungry, I decided to order the fresh summer rolls with shrimp, a small tom yum soup with shrimp, and I shared the mango sticky rice with my friend. The summer rolls were delicious! Usually, I'm not a fan of the peanut sauce that accompanies them, but this one was excellent! The soup had the ideal level of spiciness and was packed with vegetables. Even though we were both quite full, I knew I had to try the mango sticky rice. The mango was exquisite; I really wish I had ordered my own portion. The rice was wonderfully cooked and creamy—it was some of the best mango sticky rice I’ve ever tasted. I regret not visiting this place sooner, but I’m so glad I got to experience it before heading home. Everything was fantastic, and if I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return!"

"We had been to this restaurant a few years back when they first opened. The food was good so we thought we would give it another try. Arrived with my wife at 4:15 on a Sunday. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Tables and chairs were similar to those in a diner. No candles or table lighting. No condiments for flavoring the food. We waited a few minutes and someone emerged from the kitchen. He looked at us and said sit anywhere. We grabbed a few menus and sat down. Five minutes later he emerged again to take our order. Only then did he asked if we wanted anything to drink. My wife ordered mixed vegetables with shrimp and I ordered the chef's special pad Thai with crab. Our waters arrived our food arrived and we had to ask for utensils and napkins. We never saw our server again until we were done. My wife asked for level 3 heat, there was none. Mixed vegetable dish was bland. The chef's special pad Thai was standard pad Thai with a spoonful of lump crab on the side. Neither dish was hot or tasted freshly cooked. The noodles on the pad Thai tasted like they had sat out all night. I'm sorry but if I'm going to spend $50 on dinner I want something that I can enjoy. This was a wasted $50 and I did not enjoy it. I would not recommend Royyim Thai after this experience."

"4.5 stars. Reviews for this place are all over the board so I 'm not sure what 's going on. We went on a Saturday for dinner and there were only about 10 people there. My wife ordered the pad Thai and was not impressed. I tried it and it was fairly light on flavor. The noodles were also cut, maybe 1 inch long, instead of served in the traditional way. All the tables also had forks and you had to ask for chopsticks, which seemed odd. We were the only ones using chopsticks. I ordered the pad See lew and it was the most flavorful pad See lew I 've had. It was also spicy, which took me off guard. We had the satay appetizer, which was great. Cooked well and flavorful. We also ended up ordering the mango sticky rice and it was the best I 've ever had. The service for us was fine, as expected. The cost before tax and tip (no drinks) was $55. The couple next to us said their food was good as well. I know this place is fairly new and maybe they are still finding their groove with their operations based on previous reviews. This place does feel like a mom and pop place, but they had 3 people working front of house and 1 or 2 in the kitchen. I suspect they may be trying to adjust the food and approach for the typical clientele in Denver, but they don 't need to. I will go back because honestly this is some of the best Thai food in Denver."

"I've passed by this charming little Thai restaurant numerous times, and today I finally decided to give it a try. I was greeted right away, my temperature was checked, and then I was seated. I ordered the lunch special, Tofu Pad Thai, along with a side of Tom Yum soup and a vegetable spring roll. The portions were very generous, and everything was delicious! The interior is clean and tidy, with walls adorned with Thai baskets full of fruits—such a cute touch! They also have outdoor seating available."
