"When it came time to pay the bill, the servers just called out the prices loudly at our table. I had to step in and point out that this wasn't a very friendly way to present the bill. I suspect there may have been some cultural misunderstandings, as the servers spoke another language. However, in a place like New York City, it’s important to know the basics: a smile goes a long way, along with saying 'please' and 'thank you.' The overall tone during service matters too.
As for the food, it was nothing to rave about. The salads were acceptable, but the black bean burger was quite odd and we were unable to eat it. The rigatoni was decent, but the meat on top was not appealing. Overall, my group wasn't impressed, and I don’t foresee myself returning anytime soon."
