"My family and I order delivery and although we order super late the restaurant did call me to inform me that being the time it was and how far that they weren’t going to deliver, but there was a server who over heard the manager over the phone tell me that they wouldn’t be able to place my order and that SERVER OFFERED TO BRING ME MY ORDER and with that I couldn’t say this enough. This place is amazing. I’m so grateful of the server who delivered my food to my house that night because my 2 year old son was extremely happy to have his rice and Fried Gyoza. Not only the food was absolutely delicious, it truly hit that Chinese spot that I was wanting and like I said the service I received from here will definitely keep me and my family coming back (delivery, take out or dine in). Thank you all again and for the other customers out there reading this DO IT, eat here you will not regret it because the food is phenomenal and the service is just as phenomenal. Keep it up "

"My visit to Ku restaurant exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is fantastic with beautiful lighting and decorations. The space is very clean and well-organized, perfect for families and couples. My server, Grace, was amazing! She took the time to answer all my questions and her recommendations were spot on. She even gave me a complimentary drink when I mentioned that the peach Bourbon was too strong for my liking! My friend loved the lobster and I enjoyed the orange cocktail. For sushi lovers, I highly recommend trying the poke bowl - it's delicious and filling. We also ordered the volcano roll, Veggie dumplings, boneless pork ribs with roasted sweet potatoes, and grilled chicken sticks - all were fantastic! I will definitely be returning soon. "I recently had lunch at this fantastic restaurant and I must say, it was an excellent experience overall. The meal was affordable, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food was absolutely outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the Egg Rolls and Tuna Rolls—they were both delicious! Service was top-notch as well, with staff being attentive and friendly, also receiving a perfect score of 5. "The food was disappointing. Our appetizers were served at different times, and we even received the wrong one initially. All the hot dishes came out lukewarm, and the flavors were just average. To make matters worse, they kept running out of menu items—my table was told they didn’t have the sake I ordered, and the table next to us was informed they were out of shrimp. Additionally, we had to wait a long time for our barely warm dishes to arrive. My sister’s dinner came 15 to 20 minutes before the rest of ours, which was frustrating. Overall, I don't think I would return to this restaurant. I’m not sure if they were just having an off night or if this is their usual operation, but it certainly didn’t leave a good impression."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the tasty and not overly greasy food at this restaurant! Our favorites were the Xian liangpi, Chinese hamburger with braised pork, and Shanghai bokchoy with edamame. The prices were very fair. While the exterior of the restaurant may not look great, the interior is clean and charming. Overall, we give the food a perfect score of 5 out of 5."

"This Chinese restaurant is a standout in Portland. The owner, Kamal, was very kind and allowed us to dine in, even though they don't offer much dine-in service due to staffing issues. We live about an hour away and needed a place to eat after a Christmas concert. My 95-year-old grandmother requested Chinese food to take home, so we were happy to get takeout from here. We enjoyed hot and sour soup, pork dumplings, and BBQ spare ribs as appetizers. For dinner, we had Singapore rice noodles, sweet and sour chicken, beef with peapods, and pork fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. We are grateful to Kamal for his hospitality and will definitely return when we're in town."

"It's my second time here. First time, food was decent as I was craving home food and this place offers entree over rice. The rice texture and taste was similar to what I would cook at home, so 4/5 stars for the rice. I came back today. I walked in, thumbed through the menu and waited for service. A couple came behind me and they were seated and provided menu first by the sever. The server saw me, but another patron asked her for bowls in Mandarin and she attended to him first. I dismissed this . What got me was that after I placed my order and paid, I sat next to the cash register to separate myself from the rest of the patrons and waited for my food. Another couple walked in, the woman saw me and decided she wanted to sit at the table next to me. She made the server ask me to move and wait at another table by the entry way. Rude! There are so many tables available and this lady wanted the seat behind me? Well, I moved because I don't want spits in my food. Last time here. Only come here if you speak Mandrin or Cantonese. Service is night and day. Service for me was 0/5. Never coming back here again!"

"I had a terrible experience today. I ordered online, and while the order was ready on time, half of it was incorrect. Instead of crab rangoons, we received a large portion of chicken fingers. "Good value for $18.99 USD per person, with children priced at $1.25 per year of age. The food was constantly refilled, and our server was attentive and quick to clear our plates. We visited on a weekday and enjoyed a wide variety of fresh food (probably even more variety on the weekends). The sushi was made in small batches and promptly refilled. The fruit was fresh, and overall, the food was consistently replenished very quickly. Downside: the interior was a bit old and dark, and the washrooms needed some cleaning. "I honestly don’t understand why this place has received such negative reviews. The only downside is the wait; they don’t take reservations, which can be frustrating. I stood in line at 10:30 PM and still faced at least a 30-minute wait. However, once you get seated, the service is incredibly quick and the food is fantastic! We ordered the pork pot stickers and the eggplant garlic beef, both of which were really delicious. Just a heads up: the food is EXTREMELY spicy, so it might not be for everyone, but it’s very flavorful! We received plenty of water and napkins, and they provided a take-out box when we were finished. If it weren’t for the wait time, I’d definitely dine here more often."
