"While my husband’s order arrived promptly, I expected mine to follow shortly. During our wait, five different couples were seated, and I noticed the phone ringing for takeout orders. I repeatedly asked the waitress about my food, but she informed me that the kitchen was busy. In the meantime, I observed eleven orders being prepared and served, including two for takeout.
By the time my husband finished his meal, my order finally arrived, but I refused it since he was done eating, and I decided to head to McDonald’s instead. I asked for a discount on my husband’s meal, but they wouldn’t offer us one. The service was terrible. As a disabled female Army veteran, I felt utterly disrespected, and I was shocked by the lack of consideration. It’s hard to believe such treatment still occurs today.
Oh, and about the hot and sour soup—it was mostly broth with just a few strands of something in it. I didn’t even drink my iced tea since I had no food, yet I was still charged for it! We really need a Panda Express nearby!"
