"My friends and I were walking down the street and recognized this resturant from social media saying that it’s one of the best happy hrs in the city. Instagram lied to me again. The ambiance of this resturant was great along with the music and vibe. It’s too bad I couldn’t eat that instead of the oysters we received. The oysters were the worst I’ve ever put in my body, and tasted like they were fished out of the Hudson River last week. They were served without ice and they were extremely grainy and fishy tasting. They were in a pool of nasty water with bits of shell as garnish.If this was the only problem I could forgive it, but the service was rude and slow. I completely understand that this is a busy resturant, but our waiter got upset that we only wanted to try the house wine as our first round. I can only speak for the red but it was subpar even for the happy hr price. They waiter tried to upsell us the carafe of wine, but we just wanted to try different samples of wine, and not just one big portion of red. When we placed our order they huffed and said, “ugh fine” and walked away annoyed.They have a really extensive and impressive wine and alcohol list, but unfortunately we didn’t try it due to the slow service and the rude waiter. Maybe the waiter was having an off day? I’m not sure, but I’m also sure I would never try their food again.I will note that the other tables seemed to be enjoying their food (they didn’t order oysters).If you come to this resturant, I would recommend that you skip the happy hr and just order from their wine list. $1 oysters aren’t worth picking out broken shell out of your mouth. The outdoor area seemed like a good date spot."

"We ate here in fall 2022 and sat outside. We loved it and immediately knew we wanted to return again because of the great food and service. Several times since then we thought about making the 1 hour 10 minute drive to eat there again. On March 31, 2023 we went to a show at the NJ State theatre which is only about 1/2 block away. When I booked the show, I immediately booked a reservation for Catherine Lombardi. This time we sat inside and it surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Both times we were there, the owner walked around stopping at each table to see how everything was. He is extremely personable and you can tell how near to his heart running a top restaurant means to him. As a side note, you can order from their menu or their sister restaurant Stage Left Steak menu which is in the same building. Highly recommend this place"

"If you're in Rehoboth Beach, DE, you absolutely have to stop by the Blue Moon! It’s a fantastic spot that offers a wonderful variety of food and entertaining shows. During my recent four-day getaway from Lancaster County, I made a reservation for my second evening in town and then again for my last night because I couldn't find a better place after many visits to Rehoboth Beach than Blue Moon Restaurant and Cabaret Bar! I had an amazing time at the @mrsmagnolia show! I haven’t laughed this hard in ages. She truly embodies the next generation of entertainers with her intellectual performances that resonate widely. This time she performed as Elvira, and she nailed it! I eagerly look forward to returning to see her again. Fabulous doesn’t even begin to describe it! A huge thank you to the @rehobothbluemoon for such a memorable evening. The owners are wonderful, and the staff is the friendliest I’ve encountered. The drinks are creatively crafted, and as an award-winning chef, I can confidently say this is where you’ll find the best food in Rehoboth Beach. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the warm welcome I received from the servers during both visits—Kim, Douglas, and the fabulous Katelyn, who ensured my “virgin” non-alcoholic beverages were flowing all night! Friends, fans, and food lovers, be sure to check out @thereal_jasmine_blue as well! She has a kind heart and will bring sparkle, fashion, fun, and excitement to your evening. I also highly recommend catching any of the headlining @mrsmagnolia shows at Blue Moon, which often sells out. Take my advice and plan a date with your family and friends to go!"

"My done and his GF shared the Porterhouse. Stark was tough and lacked flavor. Meat quality was not good. Same with my bone in strip. Unevenly cooked. Well into the ends was well done and a large portion of the interior of the steak was way rare, when I asked for medium rare. Also had a sooty taste, as if it was cooked over a smoky, gas fired grill. Met had major gristle lines, a thick, I rendered, not crisped fat line and was lacking flavor. My other son had the famous burger and gave it a He said he likes guys better!!! Lol. You need to do better, SL. Don’t call yourself a steak house if you can’t deliver. Visit Benjamin’s, Wolfgang’s or even Peter Lugers in the city to see how it’s properly done. Char in Branchburg is even better. For person, I should be able to expect spectacular. You disappointed me, SL. I’ve been coming in for years….. don’t believe I will visit again."

"We booked a table during happy hour. Upon arriving I was told they had overbooked their reservations and that I was welcome to sit where ever i could find seating for 4. Being happy hour, they were very busy and only 2 staff to serve all the wine and to prep and serve the food. To their credit, they worked very hard and were very polite and courteous but they simply needed more people. Once happy hour was over, the place really slowed down so it was obvious why only 2 people were staffed. The wine flights were great as were the charcuterie boards and baked brie. We will definitely be back, just slightly disappointed after all the raving reviews I had read on face book."

We arrived and stood just inside the door in front of the host/hostess and they stood there and ignored us for over 5 mins despite repeatedly looking over at us and us saying “hi, excuse me, I think our friends are inside”. We were seated in the back patio (which is gorgeous) and they failed to give us napkins…. Despite repeated requests.
