"By the time I post this review, Sweets Raku will either be on its last day of service or already closed their last day of service is May 30, as many people previously posted. So my last review for this place is mainly just an appreciation post for everything they've done for me. I doubt there will be another place quite like Sweets Raku for a while they really set the standard when it comes to dessert experiences. It's been open for ten years as of the time of its closure, and I have been a regular here for the last seven+ years or so well before the pandemic and even during and after, I would always find an excuse to come out to Chinatown and indulge in their sweets! I've brought friends and family, both from in and out of town, to this place, and shown everyone I could why Sweets Raku is one of the best, and will be one of the best long after it's gone. When I went in for the last day, I ended up waiting for two hours before I was seated normally I would be averse to waiting so long for a seat, but this time I was willing to do so because I knew I wouldn't get another chance. Was it worth it just to see everyone again and partake of their desserts one last time! The photos from my final visit are posted in this review even during this last visit, I could still see the amazing service and the lively ambiance this place had whenever I came to visit. Such is the magic of this dessert shop, where you get such exquisite desserts in an intimate setting, and yet you feel as if you're visiting a friend after a long time. Thank you so much for all the memories and great experiences. If I post this before Tuesday, please do yourself a favor and check this place out. You'll only regret it if you miss out on one of the best dessert experiences you'll ever get!"
