"The man who works there is very very rude never going to order in my life! I placed an order and when i called him he said im not going to make your ordee because last time you asked for a refund oh yes I never did Doordash gave it to me because last time the driver came and never called me or texted left food outside and it was cold and i also order bb rbs he sent something else which i never ate it I was mad because they accepted the order wen he didnt have bbq ribs so doordash gave me some type of compensation. Either way he is not supposed treat customer like that I worked for customer service if the client is not agreed with something and want a refund i gave them a refund. But right away he had attitude towards me and said IM NOT MAKING YOUR ORDER AND YOU CANCEL IT. If you want to get treated like a dog by him go there. This guy pretends to be nice but when you like something and reported he gets mad at you and treated you bad not polite at all he told me and now you cancel order it why should i canceled the order when you accept it why to get paid! so i file a report for his restaurant and i see alot ALOT negative reviews here i see he sells old food tasting bad i should of seen those comments before OMG NEVER AGAIN!!!"

"We really enjoy eating at this restaurant. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I have tried the sweet and sour chicken and the shrimp and sesame chicken, both of which were excellent. I especially like going there for lunch, as they offer a great deal that includes soup and an egg roll every day of the week at a reasonable price. My only issue is that they charge extra for wonton soup during lunch hours and it can only be ordered for a minimum of two people. Additionally, there may be a language barrier when trying to communicate with the staff."

"The cold peanut noodles were a disaster; it felt like they just scooped a dollop of peanut butter on top—they were so thick I couldn't even mix it in with the overcooked noodles, and it didn't resemble a sauce at all. The egg roll was far from fresh. The only positive note I can make is that they were generous with the portions, which I would have appreciated if the food had been good. However, for me, quality is far more important than quantity! I cannot recommend this place at all."

"I never post reviews, but I feel obliged because the existing reviews are seriously misleading. I had a number of damped dumplings and a sesame chicken combo. At first, the roasted rice was muddy and was so bright red and yellow that I am not entirely convinced that it was real food. The sesame chicken was more bread and cartilage than the actual chicken. It was chewing and dry (inside and outside). What the dumplings? You were okay, I guess, but somehow too expensive for the amount of food you get. Oh and the egg roll, just don't do it. It tasted like someone splashed fat on the counter and wiped it with an egg roll, then let it sit under a heat lamp only long enough to get dry and soggy. I spent almost $30 (including a tip) on all this food, but I can't even force it to finish. I'm sorry, but I would probably choose a Creamy Spinat Fatuccini MRE over this restaurant? No hatred for this restaurant, but hopefully this comment will help to reduce your expectations to a reasonable level before ordering."

"I decided to try New China Star since my usual spot was closed. We used to order from them frequently, but since moving to the Barry Rd. area, we hadn't been able to. I was pleasantly surprised that they do deliver, and their prices are still reasonable. The food arrived hot and delicious—this is quite the compliment coming from me when it comes to Chinese cuisine! We ordered spring rolls, crab rangoon, Springfield cashew chicken, vegetable lo mein, and princess chicken. The online ordering process was quick and easy. I have to say, I've decided to part ways with my regular place and come back to you!"

"I am genuinely surprised by the negative reviews. I've tried all the Chinese restaurants in both PC and PG, and in my opinion, Top China is the best. I always order the same items: General Tso's Chicken with no spicy white rice, the Hunan Combo, Pork Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon, and egg rolls. I've never experienced bad food here, and I'm always disappointed when I crave Chinese on Mondays since they’re closed. I would suggest taking the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I'm from Columbus, Ohio, which many people may not realize is a foodie's paradise. As someone who appreciates good food and is somewhat particular, I can confidently say that Top China is the best option for fast Chinese takeout in PC or PG."
