"This has always been our favorite special occasion restaurant. And our favorite thing was always the appetizer Mussels al Vino . It was a full bowl loaded with mussels, olives, capers asparagus chorizo and served in a delicious broth. But the last two times the bowl was half full and had about half the usual mussels and practically nothing else but a little broth. There was only a very few small pieces of chorizo and my wife really missed the wonderful taste of their asparagus. This sort of ruined the visit for us. Also, there seemed to be only two women running the whole dining area and that included bussing tables and bartending. We were there for almost two hours and our second drink order didn 't arrive until we were almost finished our meal, which also took way too long. On the plus side, my salmon and my wife 's grouper was excellent. And when told the waitress about our disappointment with the mussels she apologized and told the chef. To compensate for the mussels that we were disappointed with the chef made us a wonderful desert that we didn 't really want. But we ate it anyway because it was so good. We will probably go back because I can forgive the slow service in these times of staff shortages. I know it 's hard to find good help, but a place like Chucheria absolutely must keep the food quality up to justify their prices."
