"We visited for brunch around noon on a Sunday, and to our pleasant surprise, there was no wait for a table, which is a rarity in this neighborhood where brunch waits can extend over an hour. The menu boasts a variety of themed crepes, several omelettes, French toast, and a couple of traditional French dishes. I opted for the “oeufs Perigord” ($16), and it was pure bliss. The eggs are baked in a crock with mushrooms and cream, then generously topped with chunks of foie gras. As the foie gras melts into the dish, it creates a delightful mix of yolky, creamy goodness that’s perfect for spreading on toast. The combination of flavors and textures was truly remarkable, and I was thrilled to have discovered this dish.
My boyfriend chose a crepe filled with potatoes and topped with generous chunks of Camembert ($12). We also shared the French toast ($9), which was among the best we've ever had—custardy, crispy, and lightly sweet, making it ideal for sharing. The portions are modest, and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food. We can’t wait to return, especially in the summer when they offer outdoor seating in this still-peaceful corner of Williamsburg."
