"I went to La Scala one last time hoping that I would enjoy it as much as all my previous visits. However, this was the WORST visit I ever had. We invited two others and our waiter seemed like he was very indifferent about being there--almost irritated. My husband ordered a salad. He didn't bring it. My husband got his main meal, and reminded the waiter that he had ordered a salad. The waiter said he would bring it and take it off the bill. It was NOT taken off the bill. I got my food and had Chicken Parm with Alfredo. The noodles were not even warm. I had asked for some extra sauce, which I had poured on my meal, so I asked the waiter to heat my meal up in the microwave. He brought a whole new meal, which got rid of the sauce that I had wanted... and the noodles were again COLD. So this time, I told the waiter and he heated it up in the microwave. It took forever to get any refills. Gosh, I REALLY wanted this to be a great experience because I absolutely LOVE La Scala. It certainly left me wishing I had not gone back for a last experience because I would have rather remembered all of the wonderful times there. The waiter was taking so long to do anything we just paid the bill as it was and didn't say anything about the salad. We spent on dinner... and wish we had gone to Chick-Fil-A instead. SOOOO disappointing!"
