"As for the sushi, it was rather uninspiring. The selection consisted of basic rolls and a small variety of specialty rolls. While everything was fresh and nicely presented, I feel there should have been more variety. The specialty rolls were somewhat lacking in flavor and creativity. A quick trip to a sushi restaurant in Atlanta might provide some ideas for expanding the menu or introducing unique rolls.
Additionally, I found the wasabi to be flavorless and it appeared to be made from powder. I requested low-sodium soy sauce but was served what tasted like regular soy sauce diluted with water, which was genuinely unappetizing. With some adjustments, this restaurant could become a great spot and satisfy sushi cravings, especially since it's one of the few options in the area.
I also noticed two different couples waiting at the entrance who were completely ignored, leading them to leave without being seated. Management really needs to focus on improving efficiency, ensuring there is enough waitstaff, and making sure every customer is greeted, seated, and attended to promptly. Our dinner took more than two hours for just two people, and while we intended to order more sushi, we realized it would take another hour or two to receive anything, so we ended up leaving—still hungry."
