"Recent October 2021 visit, made a special trip coming through Nashville to stop here... Waited well over 10 minutes after being seated and no service, only 2 other tables were occupied in the whole restaurant so we left and I have to bring down the star rating I first gave them.... Looked this place up and the reviews and ratings looked good... Very authentic Indian food it is!!! Very nice staff and everything comes out very quick and hot... Our kids got the chicken rice and they loved it, we ordered salmon and a multiple of lamb dishes and everything was great, be careful when ordering the hotness of a fish as even the 7.5 will sure get you sweating ?"

"Every time I visit this restaurant, it's an amusing experience. The first time I came here with some colleagues, my chair kept sliding further and further away from the table. At that time, they only offered a lunch special featuring a tofu curry. Out of all the wonderful Indian curry options, tofu is certainly a lower-tier vegetarian choice. They have since added an à la carte menu. When the server brought out our meals, he noticed my Chana Masala and commented that it was authentic Indian cuisine. He then proceeded to rearrange my fork, stir my plate right in front of me, and put some of my beans and ginger on my coworker's plate. I was taken aback; I really don't appreciate other people meddling with my food. On my last visit, it took almost an hour to get our lunch. Typically, if I order pakoras as an appetizer, they come in a basket, but this time we received just four small pieces of carrot and one small battered broccoli floret. For vegans, I recommend taking a look at the complimentary soft options they offer."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent! It's a fantastic place to dine with delicious and flavorful dishes. We ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer, both of which were very good. We will definitely return here in the future. We are fans of Indian cuisine and have found that not all restaurants offer Palak Paneer on their menu. Even when they do, it's not always up to par. However, the Palak Paneer at this restaurant exceeded our expectations and we had enough leftovers to take home. Overall, a great dining experience!"

"This was a very strange experience. We had a reservation for Cinco de Mayo, but after passing through the kitchen, we were seated next door in the Indian restaurant. Once we were seated, the staff began accommodating other groups and completely ignored us for over half an hour. We didn't even have the chance to place our drink order as they continued to serve other patrons. After waiting for 40 minutes without anyone taking our drink order, we finally decided to leave."

"I've never had bad Indian food in my life until today. I have tried many different Indian restaurants, and while some are more delicious than others, it was never disappointed. Indian food is always good. that wasn't. I ordered chicken tikka masala and what I got, not even slightly resemble any tikka masala I ever had. it was bright yellow and completely tasteless. I had tikka masala sauce from a glass that was 50x better than that. I can't find out if they gave me the wrong court, or if this is just the worst tikka masala that ever exists. Portions are kind of small. two stars instead of 1 because the mango leti only redeems something about this whole order."

"As for the food, it was decent but not exceptional. There was a live singer that night, which was enjoyable and at a volume where you could still chat comfortably with others. The most uncomfortable part of the experience was the bench seat we were placed on—it felt like it could break at any moment. There was a dip in the middle that caused us to slide towards each other, making us hesitant to move at all. Overall, the experience was just okay. I suspect it was mainly due to being understaffed, but I don’t think I’ll be returning."

"We had a non-vegetarian dinner for two at this restaurant, ordering the pakora, butter chicken, lamb masala, chicken curry, naan, and dessert. The appetizer was average, but the rest of the meal was delicious. The portions were generous and easily fed three people. The service was a bit slow, but understandable as it was New Year's Eve and we had a large group. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"My family and I go somewhat frequently to Taj Mahal because going there is such a great experience. On the date above, we were celebrating a birthday. Even as we parked the car, wonderful aromas of Indian cuisine floated through the open door. The restaurant is owned and operated by an Indian family. The women servers wear saris, and the rooms are decorated with beautiful pictures and artwork of India. By far the best things, though, are the delicious very reasonable) dishes that can be relied on to be very flavorable. The servers are happy to advise on “spiciness” of certain dishes. I can’t wait until we go back"

"I ordered the "Ordnungsteler Bhurji" and "Disteler Tikka Masala," which normally comes with a side of onions. However, when the order arrived, I realized that the onions were not included. When I asked the server about this, I was informed that the onions came at an extra cost. I questioned why there was an additional charge for something that was supposed to come with my meal, but the server had no answer—he simply said that’s what the chef told him. One of the dishes was returned because it was too spicy for my children to eat, yet we were still charged for it. The quality and quantity of the food did not match the prices. For $18.95, I expected a satisfying meal. I also ordered Veggie Manchurian, which was undercooked and no one could eat it. When I informed the server, he took it back and returned to say that if they cooked it longer, it would be too heavy, and they couldn't redo it because it would take too long. Additionally, the "Hühnerkadai" did not come with the side of onions as expected. I still ordered the onions for an extra charge, and was shocked to find that a single cut onion cost $4.95—I've never paid so much for an onion before. I have to give this place 1 star because I have no other option."

"Guess what? This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! I absolutely love Indian cuisine, but I often find that the quality can be inconsistent at even the best places. Since I was visiting my nephew and we were being cautious about COVID, we opted for takeout and delivery during my stay. I’m so glad we chose this place—it was delicious! We ordered Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Karahi, and oh my goodness, we were blown away. I picked up the food after about 25 minutes, and it was steaming hot with an incredible aroma. Even after a 12-minute drive back to his apartment, it was still piping hot. When we opened the containers, the food looked so appetizing that we eagerly dove into our meals. Be sure to support this restaurant; it’s fantastic!"

"I have never had Indian food before as our go-to take-out choices are usually Chinese or Thai. However, my two older kids went away to college, and they became more adventurous in their eating habits, and they have asked us to order it when they were home on a break. The menu is vast, and it helps that there were descriptions next to each group of dishes, making it easier to choose. We have tried chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and chicken korma. My personal favorite is chicken korma and my kids love the other two. Don't forget to order garlic naan, it's the bomb. We ordered 2 the first time to be shared among 5 of us and it was quite a battle, so next time, we ordered one of each person, that's when it was truly enough. Although, the naan bread is huge serving, it is so good, we ate a ton of it."

"My husband absolutely loved the lamb, while I was delighted with the vegan options available. The service was exceptional, even though we arrived close to closing time. My husband appreciated that the meal was reasonably priced. I ordered a Long Island iced tea, but after just a couple of sips, I requested soda to mix in. "We had a fantastic dinner! The chai and lentil soup were complimentary, and the service was excellent. We dined on the patio out back, which had a quirky yet comfortable ambiance. There was a small mix-up with our orders – I ordered a mild chana paneer but received my boyfriend's hot version, while he got my mild dish. "The food was good, but I walked in and ordered carry-out and had a bad experience overall due to some communication issues.I asked if the lunch special 9, I thought) was still going on. He said yes. I gave my order, pointing at the special as I said it. I made sure to ask if he added a mango lassi too. He said yes. The total came to $22 when I figured it should have been about $15 with tax. Weird, but I was too shy to argue and the receipt didn't show anything for proof. I came back and picked up my order and the lassi wasn't made. He apologized but made me pay for it so my order came to $26 in the end. For one meal. What? I got a takeout box of just rice, a container with my entree, and one naan.If I order from here again, it will be online. Good food and nice guy, but maybe they need to redo the menu if the lunch special is actually $9 with the caveat that you must order 2 entrees. This would explain the price difference but unfortunately it is not clear."
