"I regret having to share this about a small business, as I understand the challenges of running one. However, I feel compelled to express my experience in hopes they might consider revising their recipes or chefs. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. What they refer to as a fried fish ball is just a pre-made item you can find in most Japanese stores, typically served in soups. It was tasteless, made from compressed pollock, and truly inedible. I tried it with the sauce they provided, which seemed like their attempt at a fish cake sauce, but it was nowhere near the real thing.
The Pad Thai was gummy and lacked flavor, with the only taste coming from the peanuts. The shrimp was also disappointing and didn’t taste fresh at all. Overall, I felt like I wasted $40 on that meal, which included the soup and fried fish balls. I left hungry because the entire dinner was simply inedible. The only redeeming quality was the coconut soup, but even that was thin and had poor-quality shrimp in it."
