"The view is amazing but the food is awful. Ordered two steaks and the well done was conpletely burnt and the medium well was more like medium rare. Girlfriend didn't touch her food and the staff did not offer any alternatives. we ordered the mushroom soup in hopes that maybe it's just the steaks but that was worst than the steak. The staff didn't even offer to take anything off our bill, which is fine but i don't reccommend this place. Ended up going to mcdonalds after a $120 bill."

"The dishes were pretty fair, the restaurant space is quite squeezed, I used to expect the service in Japanese restaurant shd be good, but here can only say ok with the price they charged. They gave me the bill and even came to see I put card in when I was eating ice cream, and no one even bother to ask I need more hot tea or not. Well......"

"Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"I’m going to start this by saying I only leaving rating when a place is horrible or phenomenal. My boyfriend and I went to @marysvine followed by @thestudyatmarysvine just outside of Pittsburgh last night. First, the environment is unique for so many reasons. It doesn’t feel like a chain or that you are simply another number coming through the door. Having such a detailed, rich atmosphere, this place makes you feel special, almost regal. The wine room is beautiful to look at, as are the large windows and church organ. The service is knowledgeable and thorough, looking to make sure you have the best experience possible. The wine list is the largest I’ve seen in the area. Being able to see detailed photos of the seasonal food menu on iPads is wonderful. The food is thoughtful, and frankly, exquisite. The flavor of the pairings still makes my mouth water. Unlike other restaurants, we weren’t rushed, making it feel much more like an experience rather than an exchange. At the end of our meal, we quietly looked at each other and asked each other’s ranking of the evening up to that point. We agreed on 9.25 and couldn’t recall another experience we’ve ranked higher. Following dinner we headed downstairs to @thestudyatmarysvine where the entrance is enough to set the tone for the evening. You enter through a painting into what feels like another time. The smell of leather and cigars fills the air while your eyes look over the detailed couches, walls of books, and humidor. The iPad menu allow you to see the options with a beautiful photo and listed details of each crafted cocktail. You feel both relaxed and rewarded in The Study. As we sat in the leather chairs, we decided the rating jumped to 9.75. Although we feel more people need to know about the experience, we also like that it feels like a well kept secret outside of the city. This place would be perfect for a quality, luxurious birthday, anniversary, or intimate reception. I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone. We will be back. "We’ve been walking by Los Mariachis for years and finally got a chance to stop in. Hands down the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Super authentic and a great menu. We got tacos, chicken and steak both excellent. LA style tacos. No flourtortillas here. Also got chicken milanesa platter. Comes with rice and beans. the quesadilla was not why I expected. It wasfried and amazing. The waitstaff was so great. Definitely will be back soon. I’ve been so curious about this spot. What anamazing restaurant on CIA."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"I decided to try Koen Japanese BBQ and Sushi tonight after a recommendation from a friend. I went with one of their individual multi course grill meals, the Koen Kirin. The first course consisted of miso soup and a garden salad with a carrot ginger dressing. After that was a three piece order of gyoza made with pork and cabbage. The gyoza was much larger than I thought and was really good. The main course took a little longer, but was worth the wait. My main course consisted of hangar steak in a miso sauce, top sirloin with soy sauce and garlic, spicy pork belly in a sweet and spicy gochujang, and chicken in a savory/umami marinade. It also had sweet potato and I ordered an additional single portion of toro beef in a sweet soy sauce. Overall everything was delicious and I enjoyed the experience of being able to grill the meats. My server Michael did a fantastic job as well. I definitely plan on coming back again. I wish they had a location closer to me in Omaha!"

"Service was excellent, Mark was awesome. Drinks were really good, had Pomegranate margarita and Sazerac. The food was tasty but not great. Arrived during happy hour so I was able to taste a few things at a good price. Quail legs were very delicate tasting and good. Boudin empanada was a big no for me. Spinach salad was average but could have had a little more dressing. Off the dinner menu, had Medina Parisa which was good as were the chicken livers but there were absolutely no sides. This would be a good place to go for snacks, but definitely not for dinner. I frequently try different restaurants, so I can say...Cured...been there, done that, but wouldn't go back."

"I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I usually order from them and consider myself a loyal customer. Recently, I ordered six wings with fries, but when I received my order, the wings were burnt and very hard. I called to report this and requested a refund, but it took nearly an hour for them to return my money. In another order this week, I placed a larger order and found the crab soup to be spoiled. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer."

"We decided to give this restaurant two chances, spaced out over time, just to be fair. However, I really don’t understand how it remains in business. I’d honestly prefer to buy sushi from a gas station; at least it would likely smell and taste better. The quality of their food is quite disappointing, to say the least. I can only imagine what their food safety protocols are like, as I worry it could make people sick."

"This restaurant is a true hidden gem. The staff is friendly, genuine, and down-to-earth. If you treat them well, they'll take care of you in return. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere by the lake is simply lovely. I highly recommend trying the baked salmon roll—it’s definitely worth it!"

"Came down to the beach for the day. Food was great, service was prompt and friendly, presentation was great, frosted mug for my beer, what more can you ask for at a strip mall restaurant. Pleasantly surprised, thank you go sushi."

"Food here was surprisingly very good. The fried plantain chips were crunchy and similar to a thick kettle chip crispy. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce but the sauce and accompanying ingredients made a refreshing dish. The salmon, a fish very easily overcooked, was delightfully tender without being raw. The side of asparagus could be charred a little less. Mashed potatoes have a hidden spiciness to them! The beer soaked brown sugar drunken ribeye steak was pretty good overall, however they didn't ask how we wanted it cooked. When asked, they said they cook a tender pink medium steak but did not take a request to make it medium rare. Strangely while most of the steak was a tender medium consistency, a smaller side portion was closer to a better medium rare to rare consistency. The cheesecake was pretty good overall. The warm chocolate cake was a bit dry on the sides but delicately smooth like pudding. The desserts had a contrasting tart sauce that overpowered the cheesecake just a little bit."

"Fantastic! This restaurant is definitely a wonderful place to dine. The reviews don’t do it justice. We chose it for my birthday dinner, and the dishes were simply incredible. My husband and I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, and even the kids' mac and cheese was delicious. The rest of my group had various dishes, and they had nothing but positive things to say about their meals. We were completely satisfied with the flavors, and the drinks were enjoyable as well. I ordered a delicious sangria that packed a nice alcohol kick, so it was my one and only drink, but I loved it. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Our server, Rosa, was polite and always made sure we had everything we needed."

"We have dined at Tao Las Vegas multiple times and always enjoyed it. However, our experience on Saturday night was quite disappointing. We had a 5:30 pm reservation before a show at Sphere, but were not seated until 6:15 pm. The chicken satay appetizer we ordered was tough and overcooked, making it difficult to eat. After waiting an additional 45 minutes for our entrees, we had to rush through our meal and head to the show. Despite our waitress' efforts to keep us updated on our order, the overall experience was subpar and we do not plan on returning."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"Marco provided an outstanding experience. The table-side service was impeccable, with an attention to detail that was unmatched. Our server, who was stunning and appeared younger than my daughter (I’ll refrain from mentioning her name for that reason), was simply fantastic. The meal was cooked to perfection, and the appetizer was deliciously succulent. The wine selection, chosen by the owner, was just right. I highly recommend this elegant restaurant, House of [insert name], to anyone seeking an authentic Italian meal that your grandmother would be proud of. Absolutely 5 stars! The limoncello at the end was the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful evening. Thank you!"

"Went here for our wedding anniversary. The drinks were top notch. But the dinner was amazing. I had the veal parmesan and honestly it is the best in the North End. It is a veal chop flattened and prepared. My husband had the veal chop and it was terrific. We ran out of time for a leisurely dessert (we were headed to the Bruins game) but the gave us cannoli on a plate that said happy anniversary which was touching. I will continue to go there whenever I am in Boston and recommended it to everyone. Next time the deconstructed tiramisu!"
