"My manager and I were meeting with a client prior to his return to Washington DC. We wanted to have a working breakfast before he left for the airport. We had heard about the Lodge and wanted to try it. I made a reservation the night before (some breakfast places can be very crowded) and selected the “Business Meal” option in Open Table. On my arrival it was clear that I didn’t really need a reservation, there was plenty of room. However, when I gave my name to the staff they confirmed I was there for a business meeting and took me to a table in a quiet part of the dining area with an excellent view, near a power source, and with plenty of room for a laptop on the table. They took extra care to ensure we had everything we needed, even the general manager stopped by make sure all was set. The food was excellent, the coffee and water was kept topped up the whole two hours we were there, and the meeting went very well. Our group will be back for more staff meetings, and I’ll be back with my family for the service and the ambiance."
