"This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by the friendly service. The samosas were absolutely delicious, and the Chicken Tikka Masala, Pineapple Lamb, Garlic Basil Naan, and Paswari Naan were all excellent selections. They also have a full bar, featuring Indian whiskey. The dining area is quite spacious, with around 25 tables, along with a banquet room. We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary rice pudding for dessert. The prices are very reasonable, and we've definitely discovered a new favorite place to dine frequently."

"Absolutely fantastic! I loved everything about this place—the food, the atmosphere, and the service! The staff was exceptionally polite. The food was incredible, simple yet packed with flavor. If you're in Atlanta, this should definitely be your go-to Indian restaurant! We ordered mushroom bhaji, chapati, stuffed paratha, mango lassi, and vegetable biryani. The interior is also neat and pleasant."

"The menu is limited in buffet but the taste to each of its item is superb. All items both veg and non veg are awesome. Taste is just a replica of actual Indian food. Service is outstanding and members are polite. Will definitely recommend and ll come again."

"We arrived minutes early. We were seated and given our menus and water. And then we waited. Two gentlemen came in and the greeter talked to them, and talked to them, etc. When, finally, he came to get our order, we ordered mango lassis and were told they might not have them. Heâd check. We placed our order...more servers arrived so new diners got more attention..,We never were told if there were lassis..but apparently not since we didnât get them. The food we did get was delicious, especially the Naan. But we wonât return."

"This restaurant experience was far from satisfactory. I would give it zero stars if that were an option. We ordered Manchurian, but were served potato balls drenched in tomato ketchup gravy instead. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, who is not Indian, she tried to convince me that I was mistaken about Indian cuisine. Additionally, the Methi Malai dish I ordered was disappointing; it lacked cream and instead was topped with kasoori methi. To top things off, the service was poor and all the dishes tasted the same. As an Indian, I cannot recommend this place. However, if you're not familiar with authentic Indian flavors, you might be easily misled."

"First off the service was great! I love how I was greeted when I walked in this cute little cozy spot. After placing my order I walked around the market and instantly wished I brought cash!!! So many cute items, fabrics, jewelry and trinkets! Now to the food. That damn Tandoori chicken is to die for!! I swear I could it everyday! I haven't had it in years and ohhh the memories I might need to go once a week to get my fix. They give you soooo much I ate off it all day. Now the Vindaloo (I choose Lamb as my protein of choice) I wanted to venture off and try something new... NOPE!! Lol. I think I asked for the wrong thing; I wanted the item above it it has a strong vinegar taste (which on the menu it clearly states) my fat ass just saw ginger and garlic and started drooling. Now because I paid $4 extra for lamb I picked the lamb out and ate it the spice level and flavor was PERFECT, minus the vinegar To sum it up... I have definitely found an Indian gem!! This is my new spot"

"I used to be a loyal customer of Shalimar for many years, but my last three experiences there were disappointing. So, I decided to try Village Tandoori instead. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and it's also closer to my house. Having a good Indian restaurant nearby is important to me as an English person, and Village Tandoori definitely does not disappoint. I have already recommended it to my friends and will continue to do so."

"This place does not even deserve one star. We went to this place last week we were not even welcomed, We didn't know we had to sit or stand and wait for them to ask us to sit. Place is not clean at all. Not well maintained. We ordered Roti which was superhard and Baingan Bharta was so bad, we never had such Baingan Bharta which tasted like that. We also made a mistake of orderingVeg Biriyani because we didn't want to order anymore Roti. Veg Biriyani was like BisiBele Bath, sticky rice which tasted so notlike veg biriyani. They also have increased the price for such bad food. I would never ever go to this place again in my life. Iwould not eat Indian food outside than eat here and feel bad about it. Please improve your standards and cleanliness."

"Taste of India is a tucked away unique establishment that is family run and offers fresh-tasting authentic Indian cuisine. Our decision to try this cozy restaurant one evening turned out to be a terrific idea. We entered the venue and were seated in a comfortable booth as we were approached by a smiling server, received menus, and were warmly welcomed to the restaurant. Our bottle of wine was opened and poured, as we started to review the menus to decide what our evening indulgence would be. A multitude of options awaits patrons at Taste of India. After several minutes debating our dinner options, we placed our orders, sipped our wine, and settled in for a meal we would not soon forget. Garlic Naan Our order of Garlic Naan $2.50) was hot, freshly-baked, and flavorful with the addition of fresh garlic and parsley. It was a sufficient amount of bread for the two of us, and we found it to be of excellent quality. Steamed Basmati Rice, Raita, and Accompanying Indian Sauces Additionally, r"

"By far, it is one of the excellent Indian restaurants when I go towards Victoria Gardens or Ontario Mills, restaurant is located right next to the theater anytime we go to watch the Indian movies; this is the Indian restaurant where we go and eat. This is afamily run restaurant so the quality control is is strong, and their recipes are authentic. The people working there probablyhave 50 years of combined experience in Indian food. Check them out. You would love them. I will be going back soon. Thank you"

"I order food and it was not at all tasty the chicken tikka has no flavour . The biryani was dry and has too much off mace javetri) in tiny pieces . The Riata was very old smell very bad . I asked for extra green chutney and they refused to give it . They always ask for the spice level in the food but it is of no use .I told them to keep it 3 and the curry which came was sweet and in the chicken biryani I asked for the same but it become too spicy I cannot eat it . So humble request to the owner Sir please look into the kitchen or we will not order food from next time . And all this happened 2 times in the whole week ."

"I have been getting swagat once or twice a week for well over a year now. My boyfriend and I loved the place, we considered it to be the best restaurant in Baton Rouge. Unfortunately the ownership seems to have changed and the quality of the food has suffered greatly. It's just not the same food. Swagat used to absolutely nail every dish every time we got it, and now the food is bland and too sweet. Maybe this was an intentional choice to appeal to a wider audience, but it's not nearly as good as it used to be.Had whoever bought the restaurant not changed any of the recipes I'd only be a little disappointed not to see the same old faces when I went it, but since the food isn't even similar in quality, I'll probably never go back.We mourn the loss of swagat every day."

"Wow, I'm really impressed with everything at this restaurant! The food is the best Bengali cuisine I've had in Jamaica. I've tried most of the Bengali restaurants on Hillgasse, and they tend to be average and quite pricey. However, this place is truly a hidden gem. The dishes are absolutely delicious, and I can't stop thinking about them. I received a generous portion for the price, so much so that we could eat leftovers for iftar the next day! The customer service was outstanding as well. The chef personally welcomed me, and a staff member even carried my food to the car. I love this place, and the reviews definitely reflect its quality."
