Both dishes were served in colorfully-designed serving plates and included large shrimp, cashews and tender pieces of beef with freshly steamed and stir fried broccoli. A side of chicken fried rice accompanied these selections magnificently. "An OK Chinese restaurant. The taste is slightly above average, and the service is below average. One big improvement I would suggest is to reorganize the menu. It seems to me that the manager wants to include many popular dishes such as the Szechuan style, but on the other hand trying to keep the Southern dishes which I believe have been served long time ago. This makes me confused looking at the menu. Although some dishes are labeled with the pepper sign, a simple mixed list of very different dishes makes the place look unprofessional and less authentic. I would feel much better about the place if the they offer a designated section of Szechuan and Taiwainese dishes on the menu."

"We were pleasantly surprised with our dinner tonight at this restaurant. We ordered sesame chicken with broccoli and vegetable fried rice, shrimp lo mein, shrimp with broccoli and vegetable fried rice, and tofu with mixed vegetables. While the food was delicious, I wish they would offer vegetarian options for the spring rolls they serve with the meals. I do not eat meat and hope they will consider this in the future."

"My mother and I stopped by Da Chen for lunch today after my medical appointment in Philadelphia. We are avid fans of this restaurant and have been loyal customers whenever we're in the area. We started our meal with cheese wontons, and then we both enjoyed wonderful lunch combinations: I ordered the chicken with cashew nuts, while my mother had the twice-cooked pork. We also shared a hot and sour soup, pork and shrimp egg rolls, and pork fried rice, all included in our meal combos. Everything was delicious, as always, and the fantastic roasted noodles with duck sauce were a highlight as well. The lovely woman who runs this charming little Chinese spot reminded me of its homey charm. I highly recommend checking out Da Chen!"

"*please forgive me for my paper bowl I most recently moved and have no dishware* The meal here was amazing and thoroughly prepared. I ordered the seafood pancake which was cooked to perfection, the egg roll, and what is below the teriyaki chicken. I could not finish it all the night before because between the appetizers I was full. The teriyaki chicken had somewhat of a smoked/grill taste which was amazing reminded me of chicken thrown in a fire roast. Everything was proportioned greatly. The restaurant indoor was also very beautifully setup and peaceful. Will order again."
