"I did find the wait for our food to be a bit longer than expected, especially since you place your order at the counter and then wait for it to be served. However, this is a good indicator that they prepare the food fresh rather than simply reheating pre-made items. While waiting, you can enjoy a warm, milky chai tea and take in the beautiful landscape photography of India adorning the walls. The outside may feel busy and chaotic, but inside, the atmosphere is inviting and slightly exotic.
During my visit, the majority of the diners were Indian men, which perhaps speaks to the restaurant's authenticity and homely vibe. If you decide to try the Chicken Tikka Masala, I highly recommend savoring every bit of the sauce! The basmati rice served with our dishes was fragrant and fluffy, and we even discovered a stick of cinnamon and a bay leaf hidden in the rice—definitely something a true basmati enthusiast would appreciate.
I appreciated that the naan is included with the curries, eliminating the need to order a large serving of rice that often ends up being overwhelmed, wasted, or forgotten. The naan was chewy with a hint of butter flavor, a little charred around the edges, but easily torn apart with your fingers.
I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine, but if you're looking for flavorful, satisfying dishes that will delight your taste buds, this is definitely the place to go."
