"I really wanted to love this place but it came up short. The french onion soup was so salty it was inedible. The waiter asked what I thought of the soup and when I told him all he said was sorry. No offer of something else or not charging me for something I couldn't eat. They do a weird thing with their butter where it sits in olive oil and is drizzled with balsamic. I think they think this is sophistcated but it's just a strange mix. My wife had the halibut bites that were ok but salty....just not as salty as my soup. I had the border burguer which was good. The only thing was that I asked that the aioli be placed on the side but it came spreas on both buns. The fries were also very good. The waiter was extremely softspoken and we couldn't hear half of what he said."

"I have eaten and Vic and Anthony's in the Golden Nugget times it was always great, I thought we should try Ember, big mistake. Oysters and Asparagus were excellent and so were the drinks. But, the steak was terrible and I still wonder why they would even serve it as they did. We ordered it medium and it came out as tough as a shoe. My wife said we should not say anything so we didn't. But, I was not happy at all"

"If I could give it zero stars I would. They refused to allow mashed potatoes instead of fingerling potatoes with my meal. She said the chef is strict and wouldn't allow the change. Even though mashed potatoes were offered tonight, Mothers Day! They brought us the wrong tables food. And none of our food came out at the same time. Four people got their food and they other two had to wait until everyone was almost done. They said the salmon takes longer to cook than the well done burger. Came all the way from California and was really looking forward to this restaurant. Very disappointing. Never written a bad review of a restaurant before."

"Honesty much worse that expected. The cocktails are pre made and just put in a glass, there is no one who actually knows how to make drinks, like where the bartender? My mothers glass was broken and I asked the waiter for a new drink since there was glass in my drink and he put The same the drink into a new glass. Very disgusting. The meat (we got the steak flatbread) was like beef jerky. And you have to pay $75 to make a reservation. It’s not worth it. Better off going somewhere else."
