"I recently visited Palace of Asia, a wonderful Indian restaurant that I have been to many times before. My teenage children and I savored the chicken tikka masala and navratan korma, along with tasty naan, puri, and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious. We always end up eating too much here, but we still take home leftovers that we argue over for lunch the next day. My son typically sticks to the chicken from the American menu, but this time he tried the chicken kabobs and really liked them. It's a great place for both large and small groups."

"This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by the friendly service. The samosas were absolutely delicious, and the Chicken Tikka Masala, Pineapple Lamb, Garlic Basil Naan, and Paswari Naan were all excellent selections. They also have a full bar, featuring Indian whiskey. The dining area is quite spacious, with around 25 tables, along with a banquet room. We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary rice pudding for dessert. The prices are very reasonable, and we've definitely discovered a new favorite place to dine frequently."

"I was in an Indian movie, so I decided to have a great Indian brunch. the movie was long so I really appreciated that the restaurant was open until 15:00. it was 2:00 when I arrived, and there were still many delicious offers at the buffet. actually there were so many different types of dressed that I couldn't taste them all! what gave me a food was one of them plant chow mine! an Indian feedbuffet! as well as always, the normal standards that I love not disappointed, butter huhn, tandoori huhn, papdum, all were excellent! also loved the cheerful and carrots halwa dessert. I will return definitiw after passage to india if I happen to be in the neighbourhood. otherwise it is a destination from san jose to mountain view, about 20 mi."

"stopped by tonight, rainy evening. We originally made a takeout order, when I went to go pick up the food, I was lucky to score a table. The staff was so nice, they unpacked everything and plated all the food. I thought that was an amazing gesture of hospitality. The service is thoughtful, but not pushy. They check in without disrupting the flow of dinner. I had the lamb Rogan Josh, Basil chicken and fried Okra as a side (suggested by the staff member). It was all Full of flavor and delicious. I paired it Garlic and plain naan bread which was fluffy and crispy. Overall, I highly recommend Amma for those that love Indian food and those that are new to it. "Aron helped us today with exceptional service. We were extremely happy with how nice everyone in the wait staff was. But the food was absolutely phenomenal. I got the lamb butter masala. The sauce was so incredible and complex i couldn't begin to describe what i tasted but i know it was perfect in every way sweet/ savory, umami from the lamb. Perfection. The rice was unlimited so if you run out you can get more but there's a ton already. I got the ghee butter rice and plain naanwith it and it paired very nicely. Everything was extremely fresh and hot brought to the table. Service was great food was perfect and the atmosphere was very pleasant as well. I walked out of there with a huge smile on my face and same with my wife. We finished with the cheese honey balls. Highly reccomended to anyone looking to get authentic indian cuisine."

"We enjoyed the unlimited vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis at this restaurant, and both were fantastic! Each thali included 3-4 curries, cut green chilies, poori, naan, masala idli, sambhar, rasam, fish curry, goat curry, mixed vegetable curry, mango dal, palak paneer, mutton biryani or gongura pulav, and gulab jamun. The standout dish for us was the haleem! The vegetarian curries were delightful, while the non-vegetarian options were flavorful and had a medium spice level. This is the best thali we've tried in the Herndon area, and the customer service was exceptional. The staff was very accommodating, frequently checking in to see if we needed any refills, all while wearing smiles!"

"Green Chili has the best tasting comfort curries you will find anywhere. Hands down the best I’ve had including authentic spots in Europe. I have tried the Tikka masala, butter chicken, saag, tikka mughlai, vindaloo and dum murgh and all are all top notch excellent. The naan breads are amazing as well especially the potato one. "What a disappointment! I was looking for great Indian lunch and based on the ratings here I choose to check their food. I am writing while the food in front of me. The chicken is really bad and from the taste you could tell, it have been cooked a whileago and have been setting for hours. Disgusting ????. Also the Masala is a juicy Masala .. they put so much water in it that itwould be better if they changed the packaging to a bottle instead of a bowl. Even the white plain rice was not cooked well andvery dry !!! If a restaurant can?t even prepare a simple plain bowl of rice how could they prepare Indian food?!! I triedanother Indian restaurant with the same price range as this one yet their food was of way much better quality than this one."

"Do not dine here for Denver Restaurant Week. They tried to serve us a different menu. We showed the the one on the Denver Restaurant Week web site. The server argued with us a long time but finally relented to serve the correct menu. EXCEPT, the restaurant week menu offered a free bottle of wine. The server refused to serve it to us in the restaurant. Again a long argument ensued and all that she would do is give us a warm bottle of white wine that could be opened at the table. After the first course came out, it took 10 minutes to get any silverware and napkins. When you consider that almost every page of their menu features expensive alcoholic drink options, I suppose their strategy was to force us to pay extra for drinks! We will not be going back."

"If I had to rate Navaratna solely on their food, five stars wouldn't be enough! The flavors at this vegetarian Indian restaurant are outstanding and if we lived closer, we would probably dine here a few times a week. The only downside is the service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but things can be a bit slow, especially if you order a Mint Cooler. I don't know what's in it, but in my opinion, it's worth the 20-minute wait. If you don't mind a slower pace and enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, Navaratna will quickly become your go-to spot!"
