"I drive for Grubhub. I picked up an order for delivery from this restaurant. I sat there for fifteen minutes, well past the pickup time, waiting for them to bring the order out, which made me late for that delivery and the next delivery. Also, we drivers make money by the delivery, so if I'm sitting in someone's restaurant for 15 minutes, I'm essentially bleeding money, both in tips and future delivery opportunities. I wouldn't have bothered posting about this, but when I mentioned how late they were, the man just smiled at me and said nothing, and when the woman finally handed me the order, there was no apology, in word or tone. I don't know how good their food is, but I'm willing to bet Swagat is better.Edit: Also, I can understand if they're busy, but they can handle their relations with their drivers better. We're making sure their food gets to people. I was told, repeatedly, that it would just be two more minutes, like four different times. There didn't seem to be any actual urgency on their part, though, so I imagine they were just saying that so I wouldn't leave. If they can't use the delivery system without screwing over the drivers, then they need to either get better or stop using the system."
