"came here on a Friday night to the spitsbirth day. the reservation was a key, also for an early seat like ours. small it area felt in the opposite too crawled, thanks to high deck and low lighting. prices were reasonable, generous. server was competent and attentive. the small table was quickly and unobtrusively clarified between the cursors. the food itself was edible. dh’s crumbcake, while the majority scab, was a bit too wet, passed on slick. the frutti di mare was overdone, although this would have been less remarkable with a marinara in the opposite to the white wine reduction I had. we enjoyed the pleasing Calamari Appetizer. we were full at the end and had no place for one dessert. we didn't want to finish the night, but don't need a table, we've got the bar and had cocktails. dh’s brandy was given in a stone glass. he had to ask for a sniffer from the bartender who confessed he was new. the bar ambiance would have been nicer without a TV bank appearing, but everyone seems to be staring in these days on a screen around the clock. overall we had a great night together, eating and drinking while not exceptional was plentiful, and the atmosphere was alive and yet pleasant."
