"I got the Pad Thai noodle dish with added shrimp, bell pepper and broccoli. It's got stir fried pad Thai with egg, vegetables, and crushed peanuts in a thin light sauce. It was so good. Exactly what I was craving. I got it to go at the bar. The woman working was so friendly and helpful. She answered my questions about menu items and she shared her top recommendations of her favorite menu items, so I have some ideas to try next time. They have a lot of selection many items from various types of Asian cuisine. This was my first time so I can only speak to what I ordered but it was very satisfying and the service was great.If you have time and are going to dine in, the hibachi table/bar looked really good fresh hot stir fried foods on the grill. If you are ordering to go then you order from the menu.Vegetarian options: They have a Thai stir fried vegetables that sounded very good.Kid friendliness: The hibachi looks fun for kids."

"I'm not one to normally write a review, but to not share my experience would be doing the community a disservice.I got to the restaurant with my plus one at 7:30. There was one other person in the restaurant. We were sat down by a middle-aged woman with black hair and she prompty asked if we were ready to order. We hadn't been given a literal minute to look over the menu. I told her no and she then explains that the restaurant would be closing in 30 minutes; although the website and Google state 8:45 PM. I said okay and to come back in 5 minutes. She returns and we place our order. Shortly after she returns with the food. 40 minutes later, she never returns. We finished eating 20 or so minutes after getting our food, recalling they were closing at 8 PM. I can hear her around the corner talking to someone, so I turn the corner to find her on FaceTime. I ask for the check and she states that she will bring it to the table. Ten minutes later, she is still on FaceTime but does not bring the check. At this point I have gone from slightly aggravated to annoyed. I walk over and ask for the check and she says that I can pay at the terminal. Why tell me that you will bring the check over if I can pay at the counter? I ask for the itemized copy of the receipt, given all I can see is a total. I pay and ask for a to-go container.I will not return given the treatment from the one and only staff seen with an empty restaurant and I would advise you to avoid dining in at all cost."

"I always get a fried rice dish and love it! Appetizers are great! I just wish someone would explain Curry to me at the restaurant. It's hard for me to understand the waitress. Maybe something on the table that explains the difference in Curry's. And more explanation on the menu about the other dishes on the menu so I can try the other dishes. "Attended for supper with my partner for our first time. She had the yellow curry with steamed rice which she loved and tasted divine. She mentioned the potatoes could have more seasoning. I had the beef brisket pho with all the toppings. No cilantro as it was not offered and there was no sriracha either. As a pho connoisseur, the broth was not up to par and lacking the flavor. I did not appreciate the flavor at all and could not finish the pho. The service was wonderful and the pricing is very reasonable. Also- they do have filtered water."

"Innovative Thai dishes that are well prepared and served by helpful staff. Good for dine-in or take out, although there can be a wait for takeout. If you're not familiar with Thai food, they have a picture menu available that let's you see what dishes looklike. If you're still unsure, try the 9 pad Thai, the house signature dish. You won't be disappointed. If you're moreadventurous, try the fried watercress salad. It is like nothing you're every had before. It is delicious both without and withthe dressing. My only complaint here is that they charge for extra rice. Considering the prices of the dishes, they couldinclude one extra serving of rice without charge."

"IN RESPONSE TO THE BUG SITUATION BELOW. For some reason google reviews won’t let me respond to you @Bodhi Thai Owner. However, I don’t understand why I would need a verified account to share my experience. These are just my personal email accounts. I’m not a food critic just a regular patron who decided to order Bohdi thai. I ordered carry out from you last night and it came sealed and stapled from your store. The likelihood of a stinkbug or whatever kind of bug you’ve identified walking through a stapled bag, past 2 other containers of food, and into the sealed container of Pad See Ewe at the bottom of the bag before the bug swam through the noodles and sauce, twirled around, and then died in the dish for me to find him in my mouth is VERY LOW. Please try that with anyone else. I ordered from Bodhi thai because the food looked good, not because I planned to come and leave a bad review for a planted bug. Supporting small businesses is so risky because instead of taking accountability for YOUR BUG, you opted to find a way to blame me. I hope anyone who’s contemplating eating at Bodhi thai thinks long and hard and comes prepared to inspect every noodle and grain of rice because they sure won’t. Maybe leave a note specifying *No bugs please* with your order to make sure they leave them out of your dish. I’ve attached more pictures of your bug and my full order below. Anyone else reading this exchange, BEWARE. You could have solved this by taking accountability for the mistake and offering an apology. Not sure how you can rectify MY situation because I will never order from here again. A bug in my mouth is traumatizing to say the least since bugs aren’t a part of my diet. Horrible food and customer service."

"The carrots, onions, and peppers on my plate were charred, and the entire dish had a burnt taste. When I called to address the issue, I was told I needed to bring the plate back for a replacement. Since I live outside of town, making that drive would be a significant inconvenience, especially considering the disruption to my workday. I took photos of the meal to show them during my next visit, hoping for a replacement, but that didn’t seem to be an option. I could hear a woman in the background loudly insisting that there was nothing wrong with the food, and trying to eat the burnt meal only reinforced my decision to try the new Asian restaurant in town next time I want this kind of cuisine. All they needed to do was resolve the issue. I’ve been a customer for years, but I won’t be returning."

"The appetizers were EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!! ( Brie Brulee unbelievably delicious!!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad was refreshingly cold,crisp, very tasty and a superb bite.The entrees? Not so much: Crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked..like eating raw dough. The Taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the Gyro Platte, and difficult to access in order to spread on the pita/meat/greens combo, and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the gyro plate per se was eye-catching but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything.The salmon was awesome, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens under everything were too chewy and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was flavorless , but the mousse cake/pie had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had NO bitterness.I would recommend Thea's for FABULOUS appetizers and an awesome beet salad but the entrees left a lot to be desired ."

"My place to go!! The food is always fresh, piping hot and spice level on point (I get Thai spicy #7 (out of 10 . "I’ve been visiting this restaurant for nearly ten years, even before it became known as Padaek (same owner, just a new name) and during the previous management. I absolutely adore the authentic Thai and Laotian dishes and flavors it offers! I’m quite discerning when it comes to Pad Thai, and they always get it just right here. I typically come for their lunch buffet, which truly satisfies my cravings for Thai food! Their Thai Iced Tea is perfectly sweetened. They are closed on Tuesdays. I highly recommend trying this hidden gem of a restaurant! The staff and owner are also very friendly!"

"This might be the worst Thai restaurant in the DC metro area. To start, the portions are unusually small—my entree was hardly two-thirds the size of what you'd expect at any other place. I ordered the Drunken Noodle with seafood for $15.89 (including tax). As you can see from the picture, the takeout box is barely larger than my iPhone 7 Plus case, which I needed for this photo. On top of that, the food just doesn’t taste right. The Drunken Noodle at Mai Thai in downtown DC and Georgetown is a far better choice."

"I received a wrong order about a week and half ago (I ordered basil fried rice with minced chicken with added broccoli for an extra cost). I got to work and opened my food and noticed it was chicken with broccoli and white rice. I called the restaurant and the lady that picked up said she didn't hear the fried rice part when I ordered. No apology. I asked if they can deliver the right food she said no and to call back anytime I want to come pick up the right order and just tell them my name. It's out of my way so I couldn't go right away. I called to order my food today. A lady picked up and connects me to a guy. He takes my order and tells me to come in 15 minutes. I asked for his name and he said Cinderella and I can hear the people in the background laughing hysterically. I asked if he's trying to be funny and he asks me in I'm discriminating. Horrible place, horrible people. Not the first time for their rude behavior but it will definitely be the last. Who knows what they are doing to the food back there."

"As a transplant from the East Coast and having had my favorite favorites (NYC CT), I was more than happy surprised to enjoy the outstanding Thai food here last evening. Flawless. Expertly prepared and cooked. Fresh ingredients. I had Tom Kah soup, and every flavor was present. The 2nd best I have enjoyed in 30 years. Drunken noodles were not on the menu but the owner/cook made them anyway. I asked for pork, which he accommodated. And the leftovers were just about as good as the night before. Cannot wait to go back"

"I enjoy ordering Spicy Fried Rice once or twice a month as a nostalgic treat. It was my favorite meal growing up, primarily because of its delightful spiciness. The highest spice level is 5, and for the past year, I've been requesting levels 4 or 5, yet it feels like the kitchen has lost interest in making the dish spicy. It reached a point where, when I started placing online orders, I would practically beg in the notes for them to make it spicy. Honestly, it feels like I'm being served rice intended for another dish, with some peppers and tofu mixed in as an afterthought. Today, I received my order of Spicy Fried Rice, and it was the most bland version I've had from any Thai restaurant. I ordered a level 4 spice, but it tasted like barely a 1. I’ve been ordering from this establishment for years, so I know they are capable of preparing genuinely spicy fried rice. This past year, however, has been a real letdown, and I may have to start searching for a new restaurant that can satisfy my craving for authentic spicy fried rice. I genuinely appreciate the outstanding customer service from the staff; they are fantastic. I just wish the kitchen could bring back the flavorful dishes I used to enjoy.
