A half-hour after our order was due, we called the restaurant and learned that our pizza was ready but waiting for a DoorDash driver to arrive. We offered to pick it up ourselves, but they informed us that was not an option since it was already in the system. Consequently, we had to wait for DoorDash, leading to our order arriving an hour and 15 minutes late. And since it had been sitting there all that time, it was cold upon arrival. From similar reviews, it's clear this happens frequently—pizzas are ready but delayed for pickup due to DoorDash's inefficiency. Donato's should reconsider their partnership with DoorDash; however, they seem aware of this issue and indifferent. If you decide to order from here, be sure to pick it up yourself—delivery is not the way to go!"
