"Buttermilk Kitchen sets the bar that much higher. Best breakfast restaurant I've been too. When visiting family in Long Island we've visited Buttermilk multiple times and brought friends and family as well. Food is always perfect, staff is great (tip well, they deserve it), huge portions and good pricing. The place is always busy but they are on their game and we've never had to wait long. Love the home feel and country style decor, random coffee mugs in various sizes. I can't say enough positive things about this place. If you haven't tried it, you need to. Best french toast i've ever had and previously voted best French Toast in Long Island."

"The restaurant boasts a pristine exterior and interior, although I didn’t have the opportunity to inspect the restrooms. The dining area is consistently kept clean, which is definitely a plus. However, there are some downsides. Their self-service system appeared somewhat disorganized, and it seemed like all the machines were acting up. I also had some uncertainty about whether the phone number I entered was valid. If you want extra ranch dressing, make sure to request it after placing your order. They tend to overlook such requests during the ordering process; I experienced this twice and ended up without ranch in my takeout."

"The restaurant isn't very appealing in terms of decor. I ordered the hot beef sandwich and was quite disappointed. The gravy lacked flavor and was lumpy, so I didn't even bother to take a photo because it looked unappetizing. I expect a rich, brown gravy on a hot beef sandwich, but that's not what I received. Another person in my group had a steak sandwich, which was decent, but overall the service was just mediocre. I don’t think I’ll be returning here."

"There have only been 2 times where I ate something that tasted so good that weeks later I can remember how great it tasted. 1 was a 5 star seafood restaurant, and the other was this. Food was incredible, waiters were friendly and bilingual which helped with my family. And if you're scared about COVID, here they have tons of safety measures that helped me and my family feel safe while we waited for our food. 100/10, I will definitely come back."

"I have always enjoyed dining at Shari's. They offer great service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. However, the restaurant could definitely use some updates in certain areas. The outdoor plants are in dire need of watering; many are dead or dying. The wooden benches require a fresh coat of paint, and some pieces are missing chunks. Additionally, the bathrooms and other areas could use some paint as well. I sincerely hope the management will consider making these necessary improvements."

"I remember this habit being a lot better than it is now. I am very disappointed to write this, because I know at one point this habit was the forefront of quality and taste. I used to say that habit was better than In N Out. Unfortunately, the quality has vanished completely. On the double charburgers, the cheese just is not cooked properly.The buns are stale. The beef is overcooked. Maybe someone was having a bad day in the back of the kitchen, but this was not great at all. Charburger 1/5. Sweet potato fries 2/5. Flimsy, undercooked, no salt. I guess you can wash it down with ketchup and its ok. Regular fries 3/5. Had a bit more structure to them but need to be cooked more and have more flavor."

"I was not impressed with the breakfast at this restaurant. The potatoes were red potatoes cut into large chunks and served warm, which isn’t what I expect from typical breakfast potatoes. The bread was just warm, not toasted, and the bacon was overcooked. The fried egg was decent, but it’s hard to mess that up. The water for tea wasn’t hot, but the waitress was friendly—she was really the only highlight of my visit, aside from the egg. I don't understand why people wait in line to eat here…what's the appeal?"

"As of 1/4/2022, I am reducing my rating by 1 star because the selection of salads at this restaurant has been significantly reduced. Unfortunately, they have gotten rid of my favorite salads, including the superfood option. Although they may not be known for their salads, I have to say that both the superfood and BBQ chicken salads were delicious and reasonably priced. In fact, I enjoyed them so much that I ended up ordering two and eating both of them, not because they were small portions, but because I was very hungry."

"Unlce said this was the best burger in town. I'll def agree that it was stinking good! Had the portobello. Bun centers toasted, thin (but juicy) patty with enough grilled onions, mushrooms, and other toppings that the meal was definitely sufficient. I couldn't quite put my finger on the semi sour sauce...but it rocked. Malt vinegar available for the fries. They were near perfect with a thin crust just thick enough to break a fry in half but with smooth thick centers. An easy standout for the area for a fast meal. Delicious."

"The only reason The Habit gets 2 stars is for their ridiculous prices. The food is good, the service is great, but The Habit's prices are just downright outrageous for a fast food chain. Their prices should be competitive with In n Out Burger, with full meals in the $8-12 range (the way The Habit used to be a few years ago), but you're more likely to spend between $17-20 at The Habit. Absurd!! Unfortunately, The Habit is another one of these chains that have jacked up their prices so high in recent years that they have priced out average working class families. Covid is over, and inflation and shipping delays just aren't viable excuses any longer. Lower the prices already, and stop pricing people out!! If In Out Burger can sell complete and fresh meals for around $10, then so can The Habit!! We'll continue boycotting The Habit until they do."

"I visited Habit for the first time, and it was excellent! I ordered the steak sandwich along with onion rings and a fountain drink. They have a great selection of burgers and various sandwiches. In addition to that, they offer lemonade and a salad bar. Although it was lunchtime, my food came out quickly. There are free parking spots available outside, and it's easy to locate using Google Maps. Next time, I plan to try either a burger or a chicken sandwich. Highly recommend!"

"First time for us to have Sunday breakfast at Alamo Cafe. First impression was one of a flurry of activity in a highly crowded space. The Cafe elicited memories of 60s diners with FLO working steadily and solo in the narrow, open kitchen. The friendly staffers and the shelf with customers' cups told their own story—one of familiarity developed over many years of reliable food and comfort. We apparently had hit the after-church crowd. Something to keep in mind. However, my Eggs Benedict were the best I've had in a very long time with rich golden yolks (fresh eggs) perfectly done and just enough lemon in the sauce. My personal taste is for a stronger coffee and half and half. It is not ritzy by any means but we will definitely come back—before church lets out."

"I placed my first online delivery order on the Habit Burger Grill Website on October 9, 2020 at 5 p. m. I downloaded the FREE app on my Apple iPhone XR my cell phone. My order was one Char burger with American cheese that included (lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and mayonnaise) on a toasted sesame bun. This burger was very juicy and delicious all the veggies, the char burger and American cheese blended well together. I also ordered one serving of regular French Fries, a refreshing Coke soft drink, and a Strawberry Milkshake with whipped cream. The French Fries were crispy and lightly seasoned. The Strawberry Milkshake with whipped cream topping has real strawberries infused in this milkshake. The Strawberry Milkshake flavor wasn?t too sweet and it was very delicious. My online delivery service order total price was $24.00. I received my delivery order by Habana the delivery driver. Habana was very personable and friendly. I was also sent text message alerts that told me the time my food order is going to be delivered to my home yesterday. That?s a great idea. I was very happy with the delicious burger, French Fries, Coke, and the Strawberry Milkshake with whipped cream. I will definitely order from the Habit Burger Grill Restaurant online delivery service again soon."

"we are from the city and had to find a place to eat. we had a chance. the service at the switch was good. we ordered two child dishes from grilled cheese and pommes and I ordered a sweetburger and pommes. when we waited and they called number after number that surpassed our number for some, I went to ask for our food. the person who transferred my order with the person on the grill and realized that they missed the grilled cheese. therefore the rest of the order (3 pommes and veggie burger) sat well 5 minutes while then making the grilled cheese. the grilled cheese was brushed so that it was hardly melted. the end result was cold pommes, cold burger, semi-melted grilled cheese. no apologies or recognition of a fault, etc. only one more note on the veggie burger- it would have been a tasty burger if it does not clog with 2 or 3 different sauces. After I had eaten most of them, I have swept all the soaking with a serviette. Too bad"

"Disappointing experience. The server came at once and brought my 2 year old juice immediately without asking me, her mother. Luckily they didn 't charge for it but I see in the menu they could have. The server didn 't know what mac and cheese was, so I had to point to macaroni and cheese on the menu. The sign that brought us in said $8.99 Special Omelet Seniors 10% Off. I was happy to go in for an $8.99 omelet and after consuming a coffee found out the special was French toast. The sign meant seniors get 10% off omelets. Don 't want to ruin the business with less than 4 stars but won 't return."

"No complaint about the food, the quality is always good. However, on our 3/16 visit we arrived about 30 minutes before closing and the woman at the register didn 't seem pleased at all. When I simply asked for some black pepper and some yellow chiles she threw them in my bag with disdain! Later when we were eating at the outside dining, a couple showed up about 5 minutes before closing. They were standing inside for over 5 minutes and then walked out. As they were leaving, I asked what did they they tell you ? They replied, nothing, nobody spoke to us. They just all looked busy closing ! That 's not right, shame on the staff there I 'm sure you don 't want the Habit Burger represented that way!"
