"Made reservations for 7:45. Arrived on time. Waited about 15 minutes to get seated and was taken to a busy table with a screaming baby and a toddler literally 1-2 feet from the back of our heads. I asked to move as soon as we were told where to sit. The child was screaming so loud it was impossible to hear anything else, much less think, and the place is loud anyway. Then, since I asked to move we were told to sit at the bar until another table could be found. Several minutes later, we were taken to another area in the back. Ok fine. It was nice and quiet until the obnoxiously drunk people were sat next to us. Ok.. no worries. It was kinda funny and free entertainment, right? Then the young chef showed up …. Sweet kid but literally could not pull off a single trick. May have been due to the fact the drunk lady was kinda harassing him. Honestly, she should have been walked out. But no… they kept bringing her bottle after bottle of saki. I think maybe 5-6? Remember, she was already drunk. They should have cut her off but they kept serving her. Anyway …. It’s ok, I’m excited about dinner because this is supposed to be amazing food. I balled out and got the Sho Gun and upgraded to Waygu. I’m not rich by any means but it’s a special occasion and I made budget for trying something amazing. Oh lord…. What a disappointment. Although the scallops were good and the shrimp and lobster were just “ok”, the Waygu steak was just bad. Took too bites and left the rest. Zero flavor and greasy. I spent $200 on dinner (no drinks) and was left incredibly disappointed. Unless you like a loud and chaotic atmosphere with less than mediocre food at a high price, I do not recommend."
