"I ordered the Texan Plate, which includes one catfish, six wings, and six large shrimp. The regular price is $22, but I substituted the catfish for Red Fish for an additional charge, bringing my total to $32. That's quite a bit for a meal for one, but it will definitely provide me with two servings.
The wait time was reasonable since I ordered to go. The meal came with two sides, and I chose Jalapeño hush puppies, which were quite good—fresh and warm—as well as their version of fried rice. Everything was hot and fresh. The shrimp were cooked just right, not over or undercooked, and they weren't too heavily breaded. They removed the vein but didn’t butterfly the shrimp, which I appreciated.
The Red Fish was cooked perfectly, and I selected wings without sauce, which met my taste exactly. I think using Tony Chachere's seasoning would enhance the flavors even more, especially the spicy variety. I'm hoping the Red Fish I received is the real thing and not just a substitute for Swai."
