"I wish I could leave a zero star! Placed an order online at 6pm. Arrived for pick up at 6:45pm was told 5 more minutes! I went back in and then was told they were out of onion rings! He offered something else for same price. I went with the toasted ravioli and he told me 5 more minutes! I waited about 10 minutes and went back in, the cook answered the phone and then picked up a sub from the pizza oven with his bare hands after answering the phone! Didn’t wash his hands or wear gloves! I asked to cancel my order, he said why and then I explained why! He said go cancel and I asked how! He said I don’t know and then walked away! Will never order here again!"

"We live right down the street but had never tried hot spot but they sent us a mailer so we decided to try. Great pizza. Cooked just to order. Friendly staff. Quick delivery. Good prices. I left a good tip and the drive was so grateful it was nice. We will definitely be ordering from hot spot again. Keep up the great work guys!"

"Dhop is a gem. This is only one of the few places left where you don't have to pay a fee to an external delivery service. Their pizza is always excellent, especially the buffalo chicken, and my wife loves their subs. It's also family owned and operated, and many times the owner will deliver the pizza himself. I highly recommend."

"I've been a regular customer at Jakes of Willow Glen for the past 18 years. My husband and I would enjoy pizza and beers while watching any NFL NBA games. For the past few months, and especially tonight, their service has been very below average. We always order the same large pepperoni and 2 buckets of wings. We call 1 hour ahead for a 5:30 pick up. The last 5 order have been wrong, even after waiting 30 minutes or more inside the restaurant. The wings are spicy buffalo instead of bbq, they've only made 1 order of wings, the pizzas aren't cooked all the way through, no side dipping sauces paid for but not in bag. It's been frustrating to say the least. I would love to continue being a regular but Jake's it not living up to the service it used to provide."

"This was a first time delivery order. Probably the last time. The pizza was got was good. I did ask for pan crust on my pizza (paid extra for it) and it was still thin crust. That was frustrating as Im not a fan of thin crust pizza.The biggest issue was the wings. We ordered spicy, well done buffalo. What we got was soggy chicken with a no spice buffalo sauce. Also their house garlic sauce was not good. I dont know if we will eat here again.We did not dine in so I cant rate their service or atmosphere."

Great for takeout, IMO. "I don't normally give five stars across the board and normally service probably isn't always consistent but for this particular experience I literally had nothing to complain about. Food was great. I got a bucket of spaghetti with meatballs and sauce with a bag of bread and a two liter of pepsi. The spaghetti is thin spaghetti which is what I like, the sauce is amazing, the bread is pretty good and the order came with a two liter of soda. The price was $28.00 for all that included. It was on special. Service was good. Friendly staff on. Monica the boss on duty was a genuinely nice person, told her what I wanted and she pointed out the deal on spaghetti which saved me money. Went out of her way to be kind, very good service. Atmosphere was fine. We went for lunch so it wasn't super busy, we sat in the dining room which was empty, probably a slow hour but that's okay because it was relaxing and peaceful and enjoyed our food. The dining room was very clean and stocked. The bathroom was exceptionally clean too. No complaints. Parking is usually easy to get into. Plenty of parking spots. It's not as expensive as other places. Overall, 5 stars."

"order on their website a single pizza to go before the time. to the expected time showed up and went into the window with a big sign pizza pickup had to get the attention of the person who just said that I wait in the cash line. only one person who took orders lasted about 20 minutes to wait in harmony with food I had already ordered and paid. the same person was bartending for all in the line as well as the sit-down bar and chatting with everyone (she seemed friendly after a wait, they confirmed my order, called back to the pizza window person, which was my order and sent me back. Of course it was ready before I arrived. After asking why I had to wait in the line, I was told that we had to confirm that they paid other restaurants have opportunities to do that. my experience never lets me order from this place again. the whole point of the preceding order is to avoid waiting. it was the hour of dinner, and perhaps this was a temporary short personal situation, but the process could have avoided this chaos. the pizza was good. have not saved the rest for the next day. would order something else if I would return (probably.)"

"Really disappointed in how the is store’s service and quality has declined over the years. I’m a long time delivery and pickup customer, and while I was in undergrad I was also a delivery employee at this location. So I’m quite familiar with the delivery routes.I placed my order through text this evening, and an hour later received a call an HOUR after my order was placed from Jessica the “manager”, stating that they don’t deliver to my address, and I questioned her as they have delivered to my home as recently as the 2/5/2022, and she stated nothing has changed but a manager must always bypass it. I work in AI so I’m familiar with how these systems work and I sincerely doubt the text-to-order system just has a manager sitting around to “override” text orders for this store. Her response was she that only had one driver.I was told I was not allowed to order by Jessica ever again, which is fine as this store is likely to close in the future anyway when they can’t staff more than single driver on a Saturday night, they won’t be able to keep business. They should probably replace their in-store management asap."

"I am so glad this place got it together! At first I hated ordering pizza from here because the bottom was soggy. Every. Time. However, after asking for it to be left in the oven a little longer it was perfect. I've ventured out and tried other things besides their pizza and it did not disappoint. Two stand outs are the garlic bread that is served in the baskets when you eat in. Not the knots. The bread is sinful! It is hot, fluffy, and garlicky and it pairs well with the Chicken Napoletana. Next the garlic Parmesan wings so spectacular. As a garlic and cheese fanatic these wings were made for me! They were super garlicky, tender, crisp, and had a the Parmesan added a perfect little addition of salt and nuttiness to the already perfectly seasoned wing. If you are not a big eater two people could easily share one dish."

"I've been here multiple times, and I'm finally writing this review almost as a reminder not to come here again. My issue is only with the food: the people who work here and the location itself are solid and I've never had issues with either. However, here are my experiences eating here: Ordered mozzarella sticks, fries and chicken wings a few years ago, and the chicken wings were dry and simply unappealing. Mozzarella sticks and fries were solidly fine, but the wings were really disappointing Had burger with onion rings and double cheeseburger with onion rings on separate occasions, both solid, if somewhat expensive for a burger. Recently, decided on coming back for a double cheeseburger. This time, it wasn't even a burger bun. I'm sure lots of people like coming here, but the onion rings have been the only consistently good thing I've gotten here. 2 stars is basically just for not a good bang for your buck."

"Of course, it was called sticker shock in a passage order on our way to yellow springs to visit my sister. the menu that we have seen online shows chicken tender basket at $9.99 and soft pulp sticks $8.99 the chips were not included in our order, but it would still not make up for the strongly baked chicken pliers. I called the manager in this terrible order and got the lame excuses, inflation, kovid, training new staff, he says they will compose the cc. that was my first and last time at tj chumps."

"Always joked about how we'd never go here, but we gave it a shot being absolutely tired of the large chain food that dominates the area. Expectations were quite low but we were pleasantly surprised. Our order consisted of some BBQ wings, Burnt End Pork Tacos, and a side of hot honey brussel sprouts. All three dishes were quite good, with the brussel sprouts being the star of the show. Our dining experience outside was very nice, and the servers, while busy and probably looking to close down, were nice and delivered food quickly. We look forward to returning. A message for the owners, the burnt ends tacos were a new entree you were testing. I will say they were very good but are missing just one more ingredient that would really elevate them. Some fresh green onion or cilantro might do the trick."

"We ordered a pizza online. The tracker showed it as ready about 30 minutes later. It took us an additional 10 minutes to drive over. When we got to the store to pickup, there was a line of people waiting. We were then told it would be an additional 20+ minutes to get our pizza. According to the guy working, he was the only one on the pizza line and had 15 or more orders piled up. The cash register was left unmanned yet several employees walked past without acknowledging us standing at the counter. We counted 5 employees total. We even tried calling but the phone immediately gets put on hold. We were really looking forward to the pizza but at this point it's not even worth waiting. Jet's either needs to hire more people or not allow online orders. The employees that are currently working here are not helpful. The guy didn't even want to give us a refund because the pizzas were already in the oven. We will not be coming back."
