"The owners came over to chat with us, which was a nice touch. We ordered a variety of dishes and ended up overeating! For our appetizer, we tried the stuffed mushrooms—unlike any I’ve had before, rich with breadcrumbs, parmesan, and garlic. They were delicious. Shortly after, they served us garlic parmesan rolls that were simply irresistible. Soft and warm, these rolls sat in a pool of garlic olive oil, with parmesan sprinkled on top—definitely worth a visit on their own!
I was advised to try the chicken Marsala, and I also ordered a cup of pasta e fagioli. This white bean soup with pasta was delicious and felt homemade—far better than what I’ve had from Olive Garden. It would be perfect on a wintry day. I opted for fettuccine Alfredo instead of the typical red sauce pasta for a small extra charge, and it was a great decision—full of homemade flavor and plenty of parmesan.
The chicken Marsala was excellent, though I found the wine in the sauce a touch sweet for my taste. Overall, it was a wonderful dish, and I think anyone ordering it would be pleased. We also had two lasagnas and stuffed shells, all of which were phenomenal, overflowing with ricotta cheese and once again, tasting homemade.
The highlight, however, was the pizza. Wow! Absolutely phenomenal! Next time I’m in town, pizza from here will definitely be on the agenda. It featured some of the best New York-style crust I've ever had—giant, foldable slices with great sauce, cheese, and toppings. The crust was crispy without being chewy, just perfect!
One thing that stood out to me was the presence of regulars, obviously folks who had moved down from the Northeast, clearly enjoying the taste of home cooking. Overall, they did an amazing job, and I highly recommend this place!"
