"I went for the first time to celebrate my father 's 83rd birthday. We are Cuban and have had real bad experiences at other Cuban restaurants in the past. My father and I were more than pleased with the outstanding friendly service and we loved the food. I really appreciated how they wrote Happy Birthday in Spanish and wrote his age on the platter with his birthday dessert. Very nice touch. I would definitely recommend the Lechon and substitute the white rice with Congri Awesome!!!"

"We've loved this place for years. We attempted brunch last weekend. The place was dead. As we sat at the bar and ordered our usual bottomless sangria, we were disappointed to learn they lost their liquor license AGAIN. What the heck? Get it together, people! We walked down the street and enjoyed a fabulous brunch at Mexiville....always consistent and yummy."
