Be sure to check out my car dining tip at the end! I stumbled upon this local Ecuadorian restaurant late in the day when I hadn’t eaten yet, and I’m glad I did. The place had a few tables, but it was primarily set up for takeout and delivery. The service was excellent, and they recommended an Ecuadorian soda called Tropical, which I found to be pleasantly light and not overly sweet—similar to the Ecuadorian version of Pepsi.
The chicken was thin, juicy, and flavorful, while the lentil beans were surprisingly delicious, offering a nice change from the usual types of beans. The sauces were good as well, but if you're sensitive to spice, be cautious with the green sauce; I personally enjoyed it a lot. I did find the chicken a bit salty, so if that’s a concern for you, be sure to request less salt.
TIP: I used my $2.79 steering wheel tray, which I bought on AlibabaExpress, making it easy to eat clean in the car for just $10 with shipping.
