"Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi first began. It offers a great value with a diverse menu and has become a regular dinner choice for me. However, after trying sushi from other restaurants, I have to admit that it is not the best. Don't get me wrong, it is still really good and I sometimes crave a meal from Hewa, but its strength lies more in its variety than its quality. That being said, Hewa falls in the middle range, outshining lower-tier options but being surpassed by higher-end sushi places. I recommend Hewa for everyday sushi or Chinese food – it always delivers a satisfying meal."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and I must say I am very pleased with both the food and the customer service. The portions were larger than I anticipated, and the taste was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. This will definitely become my new favorite Chinese restaurant."

"This was our second time ordering delivery from Jasmine Garden. The first time was impressive set up an account, easy interface, everything arrived according to plan. The food was excellent, which in all honesty surprised us. The dishes included Thai food as well. Tonight, New Year's Eve, we ordered again. As anticipated, the ordering and delivery process was smooth. The food was outstanding. Really. We are now regular customers. Happy New Year!"

"Upon entering, we waited about five minutes before anyone acknowledged us and seated us. While the food arrived quickly, it was disorganized; our main courses came out before our appetizers, and my meal was served a good 6-7 minutes ahead of my partner's. Not ideal. As for the food itself, my partner found the dim sum disappointing but enjoyed the sushi. I ordered the Mongolian BBQ beef sizzling plate, which was so salty that it was nearly inedible. It tasted as if they had taken pure sodium soy sauce, added MSG, more salt, garlic, and ginger, and called it a marinade. The biggest disappointment, however, was the rice. It’s really not that difficult to prepare decent rice with a good rice cooker and a bit of care. What I received was crusty, dry rice, as if it had been left in the cooker on the warm setting for four hours, losing all its moisture. A Chinese restaurant that can’t even get rice right is a major letdown. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better dining experience."

"Googled the restaurant and the website came up showing spring rolls 2 for 1.10 dollars. I ordered 6. When I got there, the lady told me that my order was 14.90. That’s 11.00 more than I expected. I had 14 dollars on me, and I told the lady I apologize: and that I only had 14 dollars. I told she will have to take one order off. She tells me to give her the 14 dollars. I did. She spoke to the cook in another language. The cook looked confused, and she said something again. She then came and handed me a bag. I look in the bag when I got in the car and there was only 5 spring rolls. The spring rolls were 2 for 4.90. She shorted me a spring roll because I was 90 cents off. I came back in and she was laughing. A lady was at the counter confused about the price that she was being told. She said that didn’t give me the other one because I was short. But she was charging me 4.00 dollars for 1 spring roll. I got my money back and gave her back the 5 spring rolls. Don’t go here unless you want to be over charged and cheated."

"My family loves Chinese food. We used to go very often to that Chinese restaurant in Granby center as it’s the closest. Having been 5 times too many (to keep giving them chances to not suck) we are now done with Granby and were now more than ready to at least try another nearby option. This place in Southwick was the complete opposite of my last visit to that other place just south of the state border. As we waited for our order, a local guy was also waiting and he only raved about this place. At New King Yen Too you find no frills, just order, pay, pickup your takeout, and go. Friendly enough guy taking the order and the food was exactly what we were hoping for! Delicious, fresh, fantastic portion size and great price. We came in for lunch but for sure this was only the first time of many many times we will go there from now on. I find no fault here at all. Just great value, delicious, not greasy or pretentious Chinese food. Picture of the lunch portion chicken curry. I would have taken pics of the other things we ordered but we ate it all, including the delicious soups that came with the lunch combos!"

"I'm not sure why popular restaurants are often automatically deemed authentic, but this one truly is—and it's fantastic. If you're looking for Americanized Chinese food, this is not the place for you. They do offer some American dishes that are good, but with such incredible Sichuan cuisine available, why would you choose anything else? It might be a bit pricey, but it's in line with the area, and the quality and portions definitely justify the cost. Sharing several dishes is a great idea since some items are on the smaller side. The dumplings are a must-try, and the staff is friendly and helpful with any questions you might have. Vegetarians will also find plenty of options here. I can't wait to return!"

"Food tasted good. Online menu is out of date. Prices are much higher when you go to pick up your food than what?s shown online. Kung Pao chicken had lots of celery. Normally it comes with zucchini. Didn?t get any zucchini. The online menu shows options other than white rice. If you order anything other than white rice you get charged additional $4.50 and you don?t get the white rice. I attached the current menu to help people understand how much they are going to spend."

"Hello! To all the first-time listeners and long-time supporters, I must apologize for the half-eaten egg roll, but I was quite hungry! Now, where do we begin with Classic Chinese Cuisine? Let's start with the name itself. It sounds like a meal you might find hidden away in the back of your freezer at the local grocery store. Or perhaps it's something you’d discover in the book section at a second-hand shop, complete with an inscription on the title page that says, "Merry Christmas Debbie! XOXO, Roger." Clearly, all the affectionate "XOXOs" have disappeared since Debbie chose to part with this lovely gift from Roger. You can't help but wonder about the story behind such items. Did someone pass away, prompting their family to donate their belongings? Or was Roger perhaps tragically taken from us during a performance with the Ringling Brothers Circus, leaving Debbie to wear black ever since?"

"We started with chicken satay. Tasty although accompany sauce was not the expected/normal peanut sauce. Had asparagus salmon, honey prawns, lemon chicken, garlic noodles, white rice. All good, but noodles could have been more garlicky. Quiet Sunday late lunch/early dinner. We'll be back."

"To make matters worse, it was Christmas, and the girl taking our order was yelling while my husband and I were waiting for our food. She didn’t seem to know what was going on with our order and even lost another customer’s order. It was a sad experience overall—they really need to hire a new staff. The soy sauce was in a glass container, and I had to reheat it because it looked like gelatin when I received it."

"The restaurant offers a small Sunday lunch buffet for $8.99, featuring typical Chinese dishes. One unique item on the buffet is dragon fruit, which I've never encountered at a buffet before. The service is quick and efficient. On other days and at different times, they only serve from the menu, with regular lunch prices ranging from $6 to $8 depending on the dish. Its location next to Kroger makes it very convenient for us."
"This is one of the very best Chinese restaurants in town (and best I’ve been to). Such a huge selection of dishes from Japanese, Chinese to Thai and Vietnamese. All the dishes are extremely reasonably priced, and the portions are huge. The owners and servers treat you like family, but they are not too pushy or nosy at all. The interior design is perfect. Oh and did I forget about parking? Ample free parking on the side of the restaurant and on the street. I am pretty sure one can find parking easily even during the busiest hours. I really, really do not have any complaints whatsoever. I sincerely hope their business continues doing well. From now on, I’ll become a regular customer!"

"I visited this restaurant for an early dinner with my sister while in Stamford. Although mask requirements have been relaxed, the staff continued to wear masks during our visit. Having grown up in New York's Chinatown, I found the food to be well-prepared and delicious. While the entree portions were typical for Western restaurants, they were smaller than what I'm used to in NYC before the pandemic. Nonetheless, the service was good, the food was served quickly, and I believe it was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this delightful spot for quality Chinese cuisine."

"So I ordered from Yummy Bowl and it's been about 2-3 years since I've ordered take out or dined in. Have driven by and it always appears like they're closed or no one seems to be dining in, so it seems sad since I've had some fond memories of this place. I ordered delivery this time and the food was just plain...how can I put this...um, not good...at all. I'm being generous in giving two stars bcoz an older delivery driver was so nice and apologetic for being a bit late (which he wasn't). I wanted to order safe things so we ordered their veggie egg rolls which from memory was really good. Not this time. The egg rolls shrank and it was kinda tasty, but not really. Ok they sucked. Mongolian beef was ok but was more onion than beef and def needed more flavor. The fried rice was also lacking in flavor and soy sauce. The worst dish was the chicken egg foo young. Wtf?! It was 3 patties of greasy fried egg and in a separate container was the chicken pieces, bean sprouts and gravy. It was like a deconstructed egg foo young and didn't work at all. A total throw away, right in the garbage disposal!! What a complete let down. I'm sorry but I didn't lose my sense of taste during COVID thank God but I cannot recommend this place. I'm not gonna tell you this was a DO NOT RETURN place bcoz it probably won't last the year. So sad."
