"I’ve never been at the physical location. I order over the phone directly to the restaurant, because I don’t like to use the apps that charge the restaurants big percentages for nothing. The people on the phone are very nice. The food is fantastic, the portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. They usually spoil you with a couple of mini “complementary”muffins. Cute detail. They show you appreciation for your business. That’s important."

"Waiter gave me an attitude immediately after we walked in and then completely ignored us after we were sat at a table. After waiting for several minutes for our useless waiter to return, we decided to leave without ordering. After what was exposed at One if by Land, Two if by Sea it's hard not to wonder if racism played a part at this trashy place."

"Ordered the Kefta Kebab Plate and Chicken Shawarma plate. Both came with a cucumber or tabouli salad, and hummus. Overall solid plates where all pieces were appropriately portioned and worked in harmony. The sauces to me can make or break the dish, and they were delicious (I would probably ask for more next time since they were kind of small taking them to go)! Very friendly staff who gave me a sample falafel while I was ordering made me wish I ordered the falafel! Limited seating, some diner style indoors and a couple of tables outdoors. Sitting outside in the afternoon looked like the move.I'd visit again!"

"Food is not that great. The beef kubideh kabab had smell in it. It tasted and smelled how lamb smells if not cooked properly. Chicken also had a weird smell probably because its a machine cut halal. With other Afghan restaurants within the area I do notrecommend this place. Service and restaurant is good but they need to improve on the food. Update: Safron Management. If you were a little more courteous and invited me again in more positive manners, maybe I would have come again.This shows how you take negative reviews. I still stand on what I said. The Kubudeh had a weird smell like lamb. Ask any goodbutcher of halal meat he will tell you machine cut taste different. I am glad you clarified you buy hand slaughtered meat. Iappreciate that. Maybe the problem is the cook. "We have been waiting for our meal for 90 minutes. When I asked to speak to the manager, no one would step up to admit to even being the manager. I asked specifically for them to at least bring the kids meals. Our food came out 5 minutes later, kids meals last. No apology. Nothing."

"Great place to visit and eat! Our favorite is the ackee codfish with steamed breadfruit! Came back for a great green drink later. Food and drinks are made with care good health in mind — we love Natural Blend on Washington avenue and were so pleased to see their fantastic expamsion from their original spot. More space to sit down and the outside back portion is wonderful in the warmer months. We will keep coming back for more!"
