"I enjoyed my visit to S&S Smoothies and Supplements, and I felt very comfortable when speaking to the shop owner about the product that I was looking for. I am also very grateful that I found what I was looking for, and I feel very confident that I will now be able to go off of the prescription medications that I have now been on for nearly three and a half years, because I am replacing those pharmaceuticals with more natural products and supplements that I bought here. To be able to say that makes me very happy. It was no longer healthy for my body to be continuing to take the pharmaceuticals that I was taking, so finding a natural product here to replace those pharmaceuticals is everything. I have done a good deal of research on natural remedies for sleep and other issues over the past 4 months, and I when I visited the store yesterday, I was impressed at the quality of natural remedies and supplements that this store offers. The prices are also very reasonable. I also appreciate the fact that S&S Smoothies and Supplements offers a veteran discount. I highly recommend this store and I will definitely be back!"

"where do i even start in this dump that is so called a restaurant? first let’s start with the step below cafeteria food, the french toast is bland and dry, coffee tastes stale , and all of the sodas tasted flat. next the service was awful and the waitress practically THREW our plates on the table like they were basketballs or something. okay now let’s start with the part that made me want to leave this review, my card was put on the check and the waitress picked it up right away and had my card for about fifteen minutes. got the bill back and am about 99% sure that we were charged for things that we didn’t order. the bill came out to be way too much and i heard others complain about it as well. super sketchy and i am beyond disappointed with my experience!"

"However, I do find the prices quite high; for instance, the guacamole and chips are $17. While I appreciate that they use all organic ingredients, the portion size for that price feels a bit small. If they're going to charge so much for something so simple, I think they could afford to give a little more guacamole. On the plus side, the outdoor seating is fantastic—it's a lovely place to dine in the summer! There's also plenty of parking available, which is a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring the rest of their menu!"

"First time to try this place since Italiano was closed and we were just visiting in Kingwood and so disappointed with the food! I ordered eggplant Parmesan and you couldn?t even see the eggplant or the Mozzarella cause pieces are so small and smothered with sauce while spaghetti that came with it was hard.My husband ordered spaghetti if you want meat you have to pay extras for one small meatball $1)and 4 pieces of 1/2 inch sliced sausage $2.25)and the melted cheese on top $0.75c) My friend ordered spaghetti and the sauce was so pitiful it barely covered 1/4 of the spaghetti! She asked for extra sauce paid extra $1.50 for a saucer of sauce which was probably just 2 tablespoons! We shouldn?t have to ask for extra sauce at all if it was served right in the first place! Never again!"

"The staff yesterday had absolutely terrible attitudes, no one greeted us and the girl that took our order didn’t say one word to us the whole time. We assumed she was ready to take our order and we stepped up, and we assumed she completed the order and walked away. When I received my order there was less than an inch of smoothie in my bowl, which I go to multiple locations throughout the month and it’s ALWAYS much more than that. When I asked politely to get it remade correctly, a crew member took the bowl to the back and came back with it laughing really hard and said there was nothing they could do. The experience was horrible."

"Shoutout to Val and the good people at Funchal's! This is their 3rd location, downtown Bridgeport since what? 2011 They know how to be flexible in an ever changing market for local cafe's and that especially means a lot, in a city like Bridgeport. Their menu always works and they really know how to meet the needs of their customers. Their locations are clean, safe, and comfortable. Service is on point and I can't be grateful enough that they're still around. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the greedy person in me is kicking myself because they had some kind of fried rice up there next to everything else, but I didn't get it. At any rate, do yourself a favor and stop in to get something to eat or drink. They're great for first thing in the morning or court downtown or waiting for your next bus. They have seating inside and outside."
