"This review is specifically for Marilyn (I think is her name. She has long brown hair and is in her early 20s). I was having issues with the Peets app and connectivity and wanted to redeem some points and a coupon I had. Marilyn tried to help me but I had no reception, so she helped me out with redemption on my drink. The manager (I think) with glasses overheard me talking about it to my friend and asked me what had happened, then went over and spoke to Marilyn about it like she shouldn’t have done that. What’s so sad is that Marilyn did a great job, helped me out and I would have definitely stopped by this Peets when I pass through SB again. But the manager (or lead, whoever she was) listening in to my conversation and then talking to Marilyn about the situation made me feel what she did was wrong, when she was trying to make it right. Please give Marilyn a shout out and a raise. She’s great!"

"They were out of the Ham and Swiss, but they called me to let me know and offered me the chance to choose another sandwich for delivery. Thank you for the excellent service! I ended up getting the Chicken Torero, which they recommended, and it was really delicious. The coffee is great as well; this was my first time ordering it."

"Fantastic coffee! I tried an iced latte, and you can really taste the quality—it’s not just a milky drink like at some other places. The coffee is bold, so if you prefer milder or lighter options, it might be a bit strong for you. Personally, I love it! However, if you’re not a fan of robust coffee, I recommend asking the barista for a different roast or a milder option; they’re incredibly friendly and will be more than happy to assist you."

"Worst service ever. 1 employee at the register. She spoke with two customers- 10 minutes! 1 employee was cleaning 1 bathroom. Mia. When the $6.50 drink was ready the barista gave a scowl! Management is terrible at this location. I?ve been here multiple times previous and it was never like this. Avoid this location."

"When ordering food, it's off-putting to be served by someone with multiple bullrings and numerous other nose piercings (I noticed at least five on her nose alone, along with a stud on her forehead and various facial piercings and tattoos). A few piercings are one thing, but what happened to grooming standards? After I got my coffee—which made me decide to skip the food—I sat down at a dirty table and noticed the floors, windows, and the creamer/napkin station were all filthy. I won't be returning."

"Everything about this place is amazing. I stopped in for an espresso to go, I never get flavored drinks, but after seeing their lattes I had to try one. It was so good I had to grab one for the wife and came back the next day for breakfast. The donut latte is unbelievable, it tastes exactly like a cake donut. They have my two favorite donuts on display, french crullers and old fashioned sour cream. I got the latter and it was the best sour cream donut I've ever had. We got their breakfast sandwiches and they were all perfect, classic flavors with a little extra to step it up a level. The decor of the place is beautiful, even the cups are attractive. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Minneapolis."

"I don't know how long I've been coming here, but it's been a good while, and I have had nothing but perfect experiences every time I've come in. This is the only coffee shop in Charlottesville that I can get random flavors in my coffee and trust that it'll be delicious no matter what! The owners are friendly, helpful, caring, and genuinely engaging. I could go on for a good while about how amazing they are, but it would be best if you went in for yourself to experience the loving environment they provide."

I now frequent this place not only for its in-house dining but also for its market and butcher shop where I buy meat. It’s a must-visit for all taco enthusiasts. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re in for a treat, and if you have, you know exactly what I mean. I highly recommend the carne asada tacos along with their avocado salsa—it’s fantastic!"
