"The floor was dirty and instead of the expected black and white squares, it appeared as a mix of grey and black. There was trash under each table, and leaves had blown in without anyone attempting to clean them up. When our food arrived, the basket of fries was placed on top of my burger. A young man, seeming to be the cook, carried a pop-up awning out through the front door before returning to the kitchen. The bar top was also dirty, the bathroom was in poor condition, and an older man, whose role I couldn't determine—whether he was the manager or something else—was present."
