"I learned about this place because it is the sister restaurant to Bestia, another amazing spot I always try to visit when I’m in LA. Being an Israeli restaurant, there are a ton of delicious dishes here but all of them feature a twist that take it to the next level. We starred with the cheese dip, which came with some excellent toast. Then we also had the baba ghanouj which featured fried eggplant on top that really took it to the next level, as well as a side of the best pita bread I’ve ever had!!! I then also had the mushroom kebab which was amazing! It tasted just like beef kebab but better!!! Then for the main course we had the rack of lamb! My GF was hesitant as she’s had some bad lamb, but after she had this one she was a believer! It was cooked perfectly and came with a side of yogurt garlic sauce to round out flavor. By far the best lamb I’ve ever had! Dessert was also great! We had some sort of date cake which was solid but not the most memorable. I was able to find street parking nearby but I wouldn’t opt for that if I had gone later in the night given the area it’s in! Great food, great service, I can’t wait to come back!"
