"Not long ago, this excellent Dominican restaurant changed its name from La Flor Paraiso by adding the word Francy to its title. Without exercising the point, I would be rejected to skip over the question of imaginable menus with correct spelling and syntax in English and any other language is used to identify the food. It is beyond my understanding why who prepares the menus for the expensive obligation to open a restaurant, why they cannot have someone 2 proofs the spellings and such. It's like it's there to shoot in the foot. It took at most 10 minutes to go through all menus on Jamaika Avenue and correct all errors. Otherwise, it's like taking the worst foot forward. But enough of it. The food here is wonderfully cooked and decently expensive. You have the opportunity to eat or go. There is the expected steam table with wonderful offers. Of particular note is Woodhaven's most distinctive chicken soup, beef soup, pork roast with crispy skin, perfectly boiled yuca topped with magnificent rings of sweet and acidic onion. Alcoholic beverages are only sold in domestic consumption. You can choose from a variety of cold salad ingredients and have prepared a dish for the taste. Avoid the seafood salad as half of it is surimi, you know, the fake Lobsters from the ground Pollock or Haddock and given a little red coloring imitate true Lobster. It is not a bad product, but it cannot be prepared like the true product, and even, it annoys me to hear it advertised as a Lobster. The service is aimed at the loyal Latino customers who let others flee for service and turn off the volume of the jukebox that is incredibly and unhappy loud. There are good and creative Seafood Entrees. Desserts are limited 2 the few typical Latino elements, for example flan that are not made in the house. All servers are women who look like they were crashed from a movie of Almodovar. Be very firm in ordering a dish from the steam table as in most such situations, the waitress will always load your container with as much of the inexpensive ingredients such as rice, a practice that is understandable but still regrettable. By the way, you will immediately consider the uneven design of the interior. When the restaurant first opened, it was a Greek restaurant and this strange concept to make the room look like a cave from the reign of Tiberius that was never changed. It looks like sitting in a big stomach. The bathrooms are immaculate and all obvious rules of the Ministry of Health seem to be observed. There is also a vague feeling that the administration and the servers feel that they do a service in an unfriendly way. I recommend you to try La Flor many times as they have extensive offers that most of them are good a Diner's pleasure"
