"During my visit on September 2, 2022, I found the host staff to be prompt and attentive as soon as we arrived. The restaurant's interior is pleasant, although it was a bit too dim at 7:30 PM to comfortably read the menu. Unfortunately, we had to wait 13 minutes for our server to greet us; she seemed distracted by other tasks and wasn't paying attention to our table. In fact, it was the hosts who had to remind her to come over. I noticed that three other servers saw us but didn’t offer any assistance.
When our server finally did come over, I mentioned that I had a terrible experience during my last visit, but she didn't acknowledge it further. She checked on us once, delivered the check, and then returned with the credit card receipt. While there was some small talk at the start, she never asked if this visit was any better or suggested that a manager should be informed about my previous issue in an attempt to retain my business.
Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered chicken parmesan and asked whether the sauce and pasta were made fresh in-house. The server informed me that only the sauce and the breadcrumbs were made fresh. This raised my expectations for a delicious dish. I also requested extra sauce, but the amount I received was barely sufficient for a small child, hardly enough to keep things from getting messy. The chicken itself was acceptable, but the breadcrumbs were either overcooked or piled on too thick, which is not typical for Italian cuisine. As for the pasta, it tasted like it came straight from a Sysco truck. Given the scant amount of sauce, I won't critique further. I will mention that when the food runner brought our dish, he simply announced, “Chicken Parm,” which hardly captured the overall experience."
