"I ordered the calamari and taste and portion was really condensed. I visited the river place location in jacksonville fl and ordered the order. the waiting period was somewhat longer than normal, the car next to me had waited 40 minutes. I waited for 15-20 minutes outside the pick-up time and the car to the left waited for an entire order redo. it was simply not a good experience to describe the timing and eating. the calamari was fried, but they forgot to caress about any kind of spices, and I usually command the calamari as a meal that was kept faithful to this name as an appetizer."

"We don’t go out much any more because the service is usually lousy and the food lacking. Long story short, my son wanted to go here for his birthday dinner out, so we stopped in tonight. Our server Aaron was awesome! His personality, knowledge, demeanor and attention to small details were way above your average server, while at the same time not being overbearing or fake. "We love Carrabba's in Vero and are always satisfied with the service, quality of food and pricing. The menu provides a variety of chicken, steak and seafood options in portions large enough for a to go box! My wife and I went to Carrabba's in Vero last night (Oct.2023 and sat at the bar. The kitchen was sooooo backed up. They had a wine dinner or a special engagement but they simply weren't ready for the night. We waited a long time for our food. Way too long! The bar tender (I think her name was Ryan (Ryann ??? was fantastic. She took great care of us with our drinks and was apologetic for the wait. She even knocked a portion off the bill. When the food did arrive it was very good which we are used to. What could have been a long and taxing night went so well. Honestly, the whole staff was great and working hard. Glad we went and glad we waited!! Well done to everyone and thank you for working even harder during what looked like a long hard night for the staff!!"

"I ate last night at AJ’s for the first time. We were met by a courteous staff and seated right away. Our waitress Rachel was friendly, informative and professional. She took our order right away. Our drinks and food came right away too. The food was EXCELLENT. The prices are beyond fair. The place is clean and the decor is great. The entire staff was friendly and the owner even stopped by our table to see how we were doing. He was a really down to earth and genuinely a great guy. I highly recommend this place. I didn’t go to college in the area but if I did I would make this my regular place to eat, especially after a night out. I mention this because I know there are a couple of schools in the area. I give reviews for places that deserve it. This place deserves your business and I am certain you will have the same experience I did. Joe"

"I need to remember to ask not to be sat in the bar area! I love their food so I'll give the stars for that but the service was awful!!!!! The bartender was our server and she was so concerned with her 2 people sitting at the bar that we were totally ignored!!! The 2 people at the bar were regulars or friends I am sure because the language the server was using I am sure she wouldn't use around regular customers. She took forever to take our order and we literally sat and stared while she went on and on with her bar customers/friends! We finally received our food and she ran by dropping refills at our table and ran off. She didn't ask if the food was ok or if we needed anything. She went right back to talking with her friends . Somehow our food took almost 45 minutes to come out but the only other table sat in the bar came in 20 minutes after us and got their food at the same time. We finally waved her down for boxes and wanted dessert but she dropped our check and ran. We had to call her back to the table to order dessert. We had several boxes and had to ask for a bag to carry them. Service was slow and not friendly. Carrabba's has always been one of my favorite restaurants but service has gone downhill so much! This was the second time I've been sat in the bar area and had horrible service. I never tip less that 50% because I know how hard servers work. This time I tipped exactly 20% and wanted to tip less! I may need to find a new favorite place for date night with the hubby!"

I know kitchen staff have bad days because we are all human, but following up takes time and shows they manager CARES. Changing my review to 5 star because of the follow-up. "After so many years of visiting here and being totally satisfied with the food, service, ambiance and staff, I finally found something that didn’t please me: the lobster ravioli. The pasta was properly cooked, but the lobster filling, although tasty, was basically a mushy purée, with no sign of pieces of lobster. The cream sauce was indeed creamy and delicious, but there was too, too much of it and the raviolis were buried in it! A little restraint in mixing the filling and saucing the pasta would have gone a long way to make me totally happy, as I usually am. A pink sauce would work better, in moderation, but I suppose since you use it on the mezzaluna you don’t want to repeat it on the lobster ravioli."

"I ordered some captivating alfredo (2 sides of it) to go. a terrible decision to eat at carrabba on the basis of assessments. the pasta nudels and sauce were decent. the chicken was so wet that it stood half a customs chicken juice in the bottom of the bowl to go. not to mention, they gave me the two sides of alfredo in separate bowls barely large enough to hold only the pasta and the huh in a separate container after I said I wanted that the huh mixed (although they knew I wanted the two sides in the same container on the basis of our conversation.) the hunch was full of grisle. the brot that comes with him was literally pure brot without garlic or taste. they did not give me any good to go (found when I came home.) the whole experience was terrible. the only reason I give them a star is cuz, the noodles and sauce were quite decent."

"We visited on a busy Friday night, but the wait wasn't too long, which was a pleasant surprise. We brought our uncle from Hawaii, who loves Italian food, and this restaurant was conveniently located and had great meals. Our waiter, Charles, was very friendly. Our soup and salads arrived after a brief wait for our bread, although they did forget our appetizer. However, the main dishes came out so quickly that it didn't matter too much. To make up for the oversight, they treated us to dessert. They also let us linger and catch up with our family member after we finished eating. They don't take reservations, and they mentioned that the online waitlist isn't directly tied to their seating, so that didn’t bother me. The food was delicious and satisfying. They only refilled our drinks once, and we primarily stuck to the water provided at the table. Overall, I think this is a lovely spot for a date or a family meal, but I'd recommend going on a less busy evening. It seemed like they were a bit understaffed, but it didn't significantly impact our experience. All in all, I’d rate this restaurant a 7.5 out of 10."

"My husband and I were in for dinner with my two sisters on 7/27 Saturday evening. We ordered an appetizer. Also put our dinner in at the same time. The waitress asked if we wanted a salad because some people won’t eat the salad if the have an app. I definitely wouldn’t have said it that way. Then we waited an hour for our dinner. We asked for it to go because we were already sitting there an hour and a half. My husband asked for rigatoni with meat sauce. The waitress said they couldn’t offer meat sauce but said they would put their Sunday gravy on it. I believe it was supposed to be Bolanaise (forgive the spelling). See the picture of what it looked like. This was not a good experience. We’ve had the same waitress before. Still not good. I will never sit in that section again. It was so dry when we got home and had no taste."

"So disappointed with the service and food we received last night. Let me start by saying I?ve been conscious and patient about the issue with staffing and completely understand the challenges. However, that had nothing to do with our experience lastnight. There were 3 hostess's, at least 8 servers, and 5-6 in the kitchen. There were also many empty tables (I assume to reducedemand). We were grabbing dinner so we could get to TGH to visit a family member. We called ahead and were seated within 5minutes ????. We ordered our meal at the same time we ordered our drinks as we knew what we wanted and knew that should speed upthe process. We received our salads and bread???? fairly quick. And then we wait, and wait and wait. Finally, about 35-40minutes later I asked how much longer we have to leave. A few more minutes pass and we realize we won?t have time to eat. We?llhave to get it to go. I get up tell the manager to have ours prepares to go. Five minutes later we get our food?..$59!!! When wefinally open our containers we were even more disappointed. My husbands sirloin Marsala?had zero Marsala sauce on it. Thefettuccine was dry and was supposed ti be a double portion. My Pollo Rosa Maria has maybe a tablespoon of sauce and the pastahad about the same. Maybe there was a shortage or maybe this was intentional because we were frustrated and left?peacefully Imight add. Maybe that was the problem? Either way, the food in photos below is not worth $60. And it?s does not representexpectations for a Carrabbas."

"Our party of six enjoyed everything we ordered. Both the chicken and fish were well-seasoned and complemented by delicious sauces. The soups were excellent, and the cannolis tasted authentic. The tiramisu was among the best we've ever had at a restaurant, though it was slightly drier than I prefer. The service was good overall. My only minor complaint is that the meatball appetizers were quite small and didn't seem worth the $3 each. Overall, this is a much better Italian restaurant option than Bravo, which we previously visited in Lansing and found disappointing."

"I'm a regular at this location, and usually the food and service is spot on. .however this past Saturday I had a place my order to go on my birthday and it was terrible. No pesto/oil for my bread, salad was sub par and I only had 4 shrimp in my pasta. It may have been because it was close to closing or everyone excited about the holidays...On a good note I called the restaurant to tell them about my experience and the manager today was apologetic and told me he'll coach the line staff about product quality, and offered for me to return so he could remake my dish. This made me happy because I had been excited about my birthday dinner all day."
